You do know that falls under danmaku scripting aswell. Except 3D background making is something extremely hard to do. It is beyond my knowledge aswell currently ( I never attempted it yet )

The most time consuming for me always with creating bosses are the sprites and images. And I am not only talking about the boss and cutin/portraits. Also talking about spellcard background as these mostly give the true sense of a spellcard battle. Spellcard backgrounds are seriously the cherry one of the base elements which fits the "boss".

Also if this seriously is going to be made you also have to think about whether to use a standard template for the boss sprites or not. Unlike ZUN who uses different image proportions it would be quite handy to stick with a template.

as for character sprites, i could probably do that if someone can introduce me to a program to make it with.

i was also thinking we can just use Drake's sound effects/bullet stuff for the game, so we don't have to worry about making them ourselves, and it will sound more Touhou-ey.

also, if we have deathbombs, can i suggest we don't make it like INs? meaning, it doesn't take away 2 bombs when you use it, it's just a more powerful bomb.

I upload my pictures to Majhost, and I don't think they kill the quality of the sprite like PB does. So you could put'em on there if you want to. Just a suggestion.

Rin's existence is the whole purpose of the Idiocy, though, so I guess Gpop might turn out like the Sanae of this game, depending on how you guys do the dialogue.

I was just kind of thinking that the dialogue for each character would be decided by, you know, them. It gives everyone a chance to do something with the project, it's not that much work to just write one scenario and it lets everyone be themselves rather than a representation of what other people have them act as. The bosses would have their dialogue or whatever, people proofread and such, then the character's dialogue is added. Alternatively you could get together on IRC and do both characters at the same time.
