I take it you've figured it out, but whatever spell on her that's making her forget is exceptionally self protective.  I'm not sure if you can get her to even acknowledge it's a thing because, like, even touching on it causes the spell to whisper "She is crazy, you are right."  I'm also not sure just what happens if you break through such a ridiculously defensive spell.

I've actually been wondering if it's some sort of PTSD. Miko's mind-read suggested some sort of catastrophic psychological change, and I want to investigate that.

Really, though, in the long run, the only part of Kotohime's mind that truly concerns me is the allegedly shitty memory. This right now is a curiosity, but not much more.

> Youmu: Guide Kotohime through the various rooms on the current floor, keeping mental note of the time.

>Youmu: You lead Kotohime around the floor. This takes you through a couple other fairly unremarkable sitting rooms. Kotohime, however, seems rather satisfied with them as she pokes around, staring at a potted plant, looking under chairs curiously., considering a particular bit of bordering on one of the wall panels. A pair of ghosts in the second room watch her curiously, not quite certain what to make of the odd woman.
>Miko: You plug away at the Talismans. The main challenge isn't so much calling the proper incantations to mind as it is making certain you don't make any careless mistakes or drip ink unnecessarily.  Reimu continues to quietly radiate impatience, with Byakuren stands side with Meira in her arms, seemingly unaffected by everything around her as she observes a garden outside. Eventually, you finish to your satisfaction.
