She tries to move back, and does manage to minimize some of the damage, but you still manage to cut deeply into her stomach.

>That depends. Regulating your breathing is an important part of your focus, it is probably true for most who follow the art of the sword. You can likely do basic things for some time while holding your breath, but more complex maneuvers might be impaired. And this is presuming nothing goes wrong, you need not dodge suddenly, nor does it account for her landing a strike. Overall, you wouldn't expect to last more than a minute at the best, but given Meira's speed, a great deal can happen in a minute.
