What if Raynor's Raiders (after the trilogy) wanted to visit Earth and stopped by the moon, which the Lunarians view as another pathetic human invasion of their land?

LOOOOL! Gensokyo is already a place that has been cutoff from the rest of the developed world and is still pretty much at a technological level of old Japan anyway. So... if they time traveled to 10th century Japan, nothing much would be different except Reimu would probably meet her Hakurei ancestors who were around before the barrier.

Adding time travel to any series always makes it suck HARD! :barf:

That would mean Yumemi and Chiyuri are, like, ancient beings who look after the ruins, which is in fact an entrance to another dimension where science rules supreme. Reimu, Marisa, and Mima are the only ones who made it back out after getting their prizes, but the others aren't so lucky, though they still got what they want. That's also why those characters never showed up again in the series.

What if Yukari failed to mind the gap while getting on the train?

Sakuya would become a freelancer, and would take Marisa's role as co-protagonist, meaning she'd playable in all the games (in your ass, Sanae!). As for Marisa, managing all the SDM without time abilities would be a nightmare for her, and Remilia would give her absurd tasks (more absurd than usual, that's it) just to laugh at her.

What if Yukari isn't related to Maribel, but to the Usami lineage instead? (Sumireko = violet child; Yukari = purple/violet :V)

I would imagine Yukari would be the robot and instead of a teleporter there would be gaps used instead. Ran would step inside one gap and come out the other gap, during which she has encountered untold horrors that singed her on her way through... perfect recreation!
