That would mean that ZUN isn't as disconnected from the PC-98 era as we initially thought he was.

Which would result in additional unnecessary Mima hype which would result in more disappointment when Mima fails to appear in a new game.

She will return, but not as a playable, a boss, or even a midboss. She'll be featured in one of Marisa's endings.

The game that this happens in will revolve around an incident of the fourth wall being broken, since Sagume shouldn't normally know she's in a game.

She'd be some sort of drag queen-like ghost that'll be the main culprit of an incident in the next game. The incident would be that she made every human in the village that she's some angel and somehow made them think that everyone who oppose her are some sort of monster who'll destroy their village and the only reason she even caused the incident is because she wanted revenge from something that she did it to herself.

What if Youmu(her human half) died. Would she still be able to remain as the Hakugyokurou's Gardener? Only this time, she's completely a ghost.
