To answer the question, I'd imagine if Amusement Makers had been around and helped out with EoSD's development that Rin Satsuki could have been made as a possible addition to the player character roster with the time cut down from their support; also, Seihou Project itself would likely continue to be the sister series to Touhou and be made alongside Touhou games nowadays much like the fighting games.

What if Rin Satsuki was a player character in Touhou 6 Embodiment of Scarlet Devil?

This means all fairies are all at final/ex boss level, and since they usually come in packs, it also means Reimu wouldn't even be able to reach Rumia in the middle of EoSD stage 1.

Perhaps Miko would mistake Rin Satsuki for a fallen celestial at first. After, of course, lending her aid from her fall, she would likely learn the truth soon enough of her true specie, but I'd imagine they'd still end up getting along famously with each other due to Miko's nature as a Saint and Rin's nature as a Kirin.

What if ZUN had included Myouren as the final boss instead of Byakuren as he originally had planned to in Touhou 12 Undefined Fantastic Object?

Well, if the player of Yume Nikki is playing like how most people would play it, Madotsuki would use the knife on everything she comes across... think of it like the genocide run in Undertale. Leaving a bloody trail of human and youkai in her wake, someone sounds the alarm to Reimu and she would go off to investigate this new incident.

Hopefully Madotsuki is stopped before she uses the knife on any of my favorite Touhou's. :ohdear:

Well them Allied forces better learn how to dodge, graze, stream and collect those blue point boxes if they hope to have a chance of 1CC'ing the whole of Gensokyo along with Japan. Capturing Gensokyo was considered the extra stage in Operation Downfall.

What if... A strip club opened in the human village right in its main street. Which Touhou's would most likely strip there as a part-time/full-time job? (InB4 Reimu for donations... too easy :V)
