His moveset looks exactly the same as in Brawl, so if he's tweaked as much as Ness then he's probably going to be strong, although he still does have a tether grab eh

So that explains why Ness' "Lucas custom specials" behave so differently lol. I legit shouted when Lucas showed up in that trailer. I always felt more comfortable with Ness in Brawl, but I did try out Lucas for a time as well, and I've since become a much bigger Mother fan in general, so of course I'm gonna try him out in Smash 4.

I feel personally conflicted about this voting thing because some of the characters I'd want to vote for might already have other things going for or against them. First choice is Ice Climbers, but they couldn't be put into the 3DS version in the first place, and I don't see that changing unfortunately. Wolf would probably be one of the most likely DLC characters even without this ballot, but it wouldn't hurt to vote for him. He was one of the most distinctive semi-clones in Brawl and would add (rather, "add back") to the list of playable "antagonists". Mother fan that I am, I wouldn't mind seeing Paula becoming a fighter either - Smash 4 already added quite a few female characters, so there's certainly precedent, and there's a lot more PSI powers out there to distinguish her moveset. Then again, Mother is arguably not big enough to really warrant another rep, especially now with Lucas confirmed to be returning and considering that the official series is essentially finished (whereas Star Fox is still getting new releases). Still gonna give it a shot though.

I can't help but feel a little annoyed that Nintendo will happily appease the Mother fanbase by including Ness and Lucas and related content in Smash but still won't release Mother 1 or 3 officially outside of Japan. :T

Voting, however, was kind of hard. But let's face it, this is perfect for several titles that deserve something more. Banjo-Kazooie, for example, would slot in perfectly in this kind of environment. The combinations they could do with Kazooie attacking from the backpack, or even having her pop out to do the run animation... the possibilities are all there~ XD

That Protoman costume tho. Since it covers the Mii's face it pretty much looks exactly like actual Protoman in Smash :V

oh yeah forgot to say because of the motk downtime but RIP hoo hah (diddy is still strong though)

also haven't played mewtwo but from what i've seen/heard he's basically a super glass cannon

crazy kill power but also the second lightest character in the game, only a little bit heavier than puff

his attacks are generally tuned for the better compared to melee but they also have some dead zones where it looks like it should hit be hitting but it wont

also he can do this which looks super sick

it's not actually viable but mewtwo does have a lot of strings where your opponent has to make the right choice to escape unharmed especially with his side b
