Well, within all honesty, you're correct. There is no such thing as "Christmas Evening" before actual Christmas. Christmas == Christmas, meaning 25th and 26th of December. I cannot open my presents until at least midnight of 24th so the date becomes 25th (That is how I opened mine last year, during midnight. While everyone asleep, I was drooling over my package).

So yea, no SS opening for me yet until at least 0:01 (that's 12:01am for you pm/am lousy humans) on the 25th.

The confusion is the fact that nobody fucking bothers to distinguish between Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, just referring to "Christmas"

I'm actually super nervous right now for three reasons

1.  My gift was supposed to have more, but stuff happened and I was only able to send a thing.

2.  I can't find the box with the secret santa on it.

3.  I don't have a camera or anything camera related right now to take pictures of me opening the gift... Assuming I find the box of course.

After receiving a message, informing me that something had gone wrong with the delivery of a parcel meant for me, a secret package has been obtained whilst I'm at work. Cutting it very fine this year, whoever you are; not helped by the fact that the postcode on the parcel did not match my actual postcode, which meant I had to phone Parcelforce to figure out how to obtain it~ :V

Still, at least it's sitting at home now. (Thanks Puppy's Mum for being around for Christmas.) Now I need to hope that the person receiving mine has it already~
