That was cruel, but I'm really glad I watched the game in full. A real piece of history. I can't imagine anything this spectacular happen in the World Cup for the next 50 years, at least.

Well, here's hoping for Argentina. And Brazil's offense did make some great efforts, including getting rid of that goose egg. Nice goal.

Also I know nothing about Argentina, as a team, I just want them to take it.

I got pulled away for the last 20 minutes, and my internet is messing up the service I can watch on~ >>

But I saw the end eventually. 7-1 is, simply put, appalling by Brazil standards. There is no way they can use missing one or two players as an excuse for this travesty. Their defence was awful, and Germany just keep snatching up where possible. In all fairness, it could have been 8 before that 1 goal back... but you get the picture.

Can Brazil salvage 3rd? That depends if their morale can repair itself before then; because they may not want to show their faces for a while. Can Germany win the World Cup? That depends on the side they play against, really. But after that stomping, who the hell knows~ :V

What's the big deal everyone is making of Brazil vs Argentina? I know they are close in border terms but aside from that?

I don't even remember who put the above in my sig. [Wasn't me] Nor do I understand why I keep it here anymore.
Those two facts sum me up pretty well.

We're long time rivals. It'd only add to our disgrace if we get crushed by them as well.

And that's very possible considering the "team" we have right now.

I think even Yoshika would play better than any of them.

Actually, I'm glad Brazil didn't win in the end because I want a Neymar vs Messi finals. So I guess Messi vs Germany will do (granted, if they can beat NL first, that can go either way really)

If there's any form of god and he likes fun, Argentina is beating NL and going to the finals, then they'll beat Germany

I, for one, would love to see NL win; simply because they haven't won it before.

So yeah, will be joining Helepolis on the supporting front. ^^

A bunch of reports are coming out that there was significant violence in the stadium during the game.

A German lost his hearing from getting punched in the ear after celebrating a goal. A friend of mine who attended just told me there were many fights, and there was a long announcement in German only that he seems to think was a warning to the German fans to only leave the stadium after the Brazilians.

Wow. That was really stupid and unnecessary. I feel sorry for what happened to this German guy.

Some people simply can't accept their defeat and face it with dignity.

Sadly, Brazilian fans are known for that. People die because of a fucking sport.

Tbh I felt much more sorry for Costa Rica's defeat than Brazil's (despite not hating on it because of Dilma stuff). Still, gonna be cheering for NL, sorry hermanos. :V

Despite what happened, I'll still cheer for Deutschland. They're an organized/solid team and deserve to win this tournament, and I also like their coach (Loew). He seems to be a very respectful and integral person. He didn't underestimate Brazil before the match even knowing the team would not be at full potential, and even after the game, he was still humble about the victory and didn't go around gloating about it. Certainly a very level-headed guy and I like that.

"Eh, last four matches I watched were dull as shite. I'm going to bed." - Me, at 21:30. That's what I get, I suppose.

Still, it was quite hilarious to read the live summary going from a standard tone straight into abject horror. I thought Brazil was good at this sort of thing! Hah!
