Geez this anime just continues to be everything I want. Cute, funny, action, plot, lots of references. It almost feels like a Shaft anime, actually.

EDIT: But it's Mad House, which explains why it has such superior quality. I fucking love Madhouse.

This episode seemed just a bit predictable but I still enjoyed it anyway, and I like how it solved one of the bigger mysteries of the anime so far.
Kilga is this right; like is this person seriously the player, and it's not some alias or something that's designed to be deliberately obfuscating? NekoNekoRex. Who the hell is that :C   ~Poya Aaaa (Serela), Bunny Must Die Mafia

It feels like we're moving at a snails pace (LN readers can correct me here), hopefully the next episode will have a much faster pace.
I'm enjoying all the fanservice, in particular with Shiro.

@above:
Where did you get the idea that Madhouse has ``superior quality'' over SHAFT?
Clearly the latter has way more money to play around with.

Generic definition of quality - "oh man, everything looks really gorgeous." Usually achieved by descriptive backgrounds and consistently good-looking characters, and special effects. SHAFT is consistent at... other, less standard things. Granted, it's interesting, this show likes having this weird filter over everything ever. That isn't the norm for Madhouse, I think.

I bit the bullet and caught up with this a few days ago. This episode was good. I'm swallowing the fanservice, sort of. So long as the content itself keeps making up for it as it has thus far. Show is clever in its own way and I like the soundtrack.

I want to make a montage of Jibril faces. Oh man.

Oh no shaft is great too, I love Shaft, but I think Madhouse has to be my favorite of all.
Although I will argue Shaft has a bad habit of having their initial release of things being pretty low quality, only for them to fix it in DVD releases.

There was this weird vampire anime about an immortal dude that had the same filter, I think. Probably Madhouse too.

Maybe you're thinking of Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi. Same author, different studio (Zexcs).

So, yes, this show's best feature hands down is the Lelouch-style speeches. They're better than those, actually. The staff are doing a good job.

That twist at the end was a Good Move. Maybe the ending won't be rushed after all? It didn't seem like there was enough time to wrap up whatever it is they had planned, but now I'm optimistic.

I reached the end of it and thought 'wow it's already been 30 minutes?' but I still really enjoyed this episode regardless.

Also  aag shiro is so endlessly cute.

Spoiler:
I figured out what was going on when someone suggested they were playing a game, because I remembered back to the end of the previous episode when the Sora was playing the same game on his handheld

Spoiler:
The end of episode was full of visual and sound glitches, King Crimson is a Jojo character who could erase time (mind the day gap on Shiro's phone) and it was already said few times that "the game has begun". Aside from that Disboard world IS a game itself, it was way to easy to find out that Sora was trapped in a game.

Also this made me love Shiro even more.
