> Climb back up to the bridge, see if that girl from earlier is still there.
> Say hi to her if the above is still true.

> You fly back up to the bridge.  Sure enough the towel girl is leaning on the bridge, looking over the edge into the space below.
> When you greet her, she hops away from the edge and holds the towel in her arms.
> "Hi red-white," she says.  Her gaze flickers back to the edge of the bridge.

Why are we lying about our name to Rumia? Or even a little bit worried about her?

Why worry about it? It's like being slightly concerned a fly is following you. If Rumia's a problem, as far as Reimu would be concerned, we one shot her and move on.

So, sky crack or SDM?

I'm thinking the former.

Reimu tends to pull all nighters when incidents happen. I think we can probably push it for some time yet.

I am thinking that visiting the crack first is a good idea also because we can then ask Patchouli about it afterward with less backtracking involved.

I have to agree with Purvis, we should be going after the cause of the incident before fixing its symptoms.

>We're fortified with vitamin Meat, let's head toward that sky crack.

> You scarf down the rest of your pot roast and take to the skies.
> You've been swimming so much today that you're immensely relieved to be back in the air.  Despite everything it's still just a summer day, and you feel dry and warm within minutes.  The breeze is cool and pleasant, and you are alone: there are no birds up this high.
> Now that you're closer to the sky crack, it's easier to see the extent of the damage.  Smaller veins that you didn't see before spread away from the impact site, which sports a gaping hole.  Inside is nothing but darkness.  The sky around it is jagged like glass, as if something blunt struck it, or was thrown through it.  You haven't quite reached it yet, though.

>Does the crack look more like a fissure that could be closed, in theory, or like a broken window that is missing parts of itself?

> It doesn't look like anything you've ever seen before.
> To you, it looks more like it was smashed rather than torn apart.  Hypothetically, if something did crash through it, it would have to be huge, because you think you could fit a few dozen shrines in the opening.

>Someone broke a hole in the sky.
>Suspect an oni.
>How close are we to Bhava Agra?

> You internally blame the oni for this.  Who would do this, and why?
> You could stand to fly up higher.  The last time you went to Bhava-Agra you took the Youkai Mountain route, but in reality you just need to leave the troposphere to reach the lowest levels.  Somehow, the celestials are able to sustain themselves outside of the biosphere.

> You fly a little closer to the crack.  Nothing pops out at you, nor do you get sucked in, but the air around the crack gradually gets colder until you feel like it's the middle of winter rather than summer.
> You are now floating close enough to the crack that you could probably shoot some danmaku through it if you really wanted to.  You have a clear view of the darkness, too.
