It's an internationally recognized model. The scoring system is simply to find out which team roles you lean towards. As it's a test of your preferences and inclinations, it works pretty well.

I was just curious how much of it applied to Mafia, since my preferences seem to agree with my general play in Mafia, and what I am good at [Ending RVS, getting people to actually do stuff, starting discussions] and what I'm bad at [Making cases]

I believe the guy behind it is Belbin or something.

there's no free online belbin test, at least that i could find.

best i could find was this
http://www.123test.com/team-roles-test/

edit 1: figured out that an older version of the test gave out belbin roles as answers, guess they changed it for copyright issues

results match up like this
Quote
Innovator = Plant
Expert = Specialist
Chairman = Chairman/Co-ordinator
Analyst = Monitor/Evaluator
Team player = Teamworker
Explorer = Resource Investigator
Driver = Shaper
Executive = Implementer
Completer = Completer/Finisher

reference (http://www.belbin.com/content/page/5002/BELBIN(uk)-2012-TeamRoleSummaryDescriptions.pdf)

edit 2: my results!

so im a plant according to this
not a big believer in these personality tests but they sure are fun to take.

It seems that Affinity still don't have time to run his game, so without further delay ?

Omerta ? Town of Mafia

Wellkome in the 20s, where the booze is prohibited, the dresses shameless and charleston a thing.

Rules:*
-I am the Secondo Capo. Shadoweh is my Co-mod. Decisions by either one should be trusted and to question those decisions is the best way to end up floating face down in the river.
-Don't break the Omerta. You aren't supposed to discuss the game outside the thread to anyone but the game mod, or in a mod-sanctioned quicktopic. Personal quicktopics are an exception, I'm not that strict about none-player/dead-player discussions as long as I can still insure that it wouldn't get out of hand.
-The twilight is often the best time for business.
So you are allowed to make one post between hammer and flip, everything beyond that and posts at night will be deleted, no exception.
-If you are dead, then you can't post. There is a reason why they call it ?silenced?.
-Don't edit posts. We are all guilty of something, so there's no reason to hide the evidence.
-Votes should be structured as "##Vote: Player". If I didn't saw it, then it didn't happened.
-Try to post actual, useful content at least once, preferably twice, every 24 hours. If you can't for some reason, tell me in advance. Otherwise I'll be forced to remind you of your duties.
-Quoting Mod PMs is a gross violation of the Omerta. Don't quote the mod from outside discussion without permission.
-We all know that we want to see each other dead for the lowest motives one could thing of but at least try to keep it polite.
-Play to your wincon but also for the fun.

Setup notes:
This is a C9++ setup, so I assume that you know what you can expect.
-72 hour days, 24 hour nights.
-LYLO and variants (such as MYLO) will be announced.
-Town has to lynch. If there is no majority at the end of the day then to one with the most votes will get lynched, a tie will result in a random lynch of one of them.
-Scum has to kill. If I don't get a kill target then I'll randomly pick one.

Shadoweh I'd usually love to be on the inevitable trainwreck. But I have Coursework that is worth 100% of my grades in some subjects. I would not be able to play properly, and I'm not gonna play when I'll most likely have to sub out.

Also I didn't quicklynch you. D: [And you gave me plenty of reason to, even if some of it was the recurring theme of 'MYSTERY OF THE SETUP' biting me. Like Yukari's vest and you suddenly screaming how Yukari is 3rd gave the impression you hit her.]

Scum actions have a higher priority than town actions, that's all you need to know.

also for the test apparently my strength is that I like to play nice and keep the team working together, but my biggest weaknesses are that I have no drive, I never finish anything, and I'm not very investigative.

Clearly I am the most superior mafia player ever.

Why the fuck do people worry about action priority? It's not some super complicated puzzle. Roleblocks block shit, drivers move actions. They both tend to happen before other actions.

It's not that complex.

Kills preventing kills and roleblocks preventing roleblocks should use the same logic; either both or neither.

Kills preventing kills and roleblocks preventing roleblocks should use the same logic; either both or neither.
While I can understand on roleblocks, I don't think kills work that way :V

The roleblock puzzle is actually a little hard because if both work, you have a paradox (they both roleblocked eachother, but their actions both failed to work? Or neither managed to do it, why didn't their actions take then?) but ITP > Scum > Town is a simple solving order in terms of what you tell the players- since in almost all situations neither actually ends up having an effect on the game in this case, but what you tell them matters a lot to how the situation is interpreted.

Anyway, action priority only matters in special cases, generally. Or if you're one of those mods that lets kills prevent actions. For the vast majority of setups, "everything resolves at the same time" is adequate.
