>Look for Suwako.

> You let your anger get the better of you.  The youkai are starting to give you weird looks, and many of them back away from you.
> You don't see Suwako in the vicinity.  You'll have to pick a place on the premises to look for her.

> You remember the lake behind the shrine.  No one follows you when you head back there.
> There are less youkai here.  When they see you, the move out of the way, but appear more confused than outright scared of you.
> The "lake" behind the shrine is bigger than the one behind your shrine, but it's set up differently.  Whereas the water in yours is filled with murky water and algae--at least, before the incident, anyway--Suwako's lake is surrounded by reeds and has lily pads floating in it.  The water has overflowed, but not by much.

> You honestly can't tell.  Suwako is very good at sounding like a frog.
> You spontaneously think about your relationship with Satori.  Most people don't know.  Some either know you're in a relationship but not about Satori, others know about Satori but not about the specifics of your relationship.  Fewer know that you're in a relationship and it's with Satori.  This last group is mainly comprised of the youkai you know underground, and close friends from the surface.

>Fire some danmaku at the most conspicuous frog we can see.

> You fire danmaku at an unsuspecting frog.  It ribbits and leaps from its lily pad into the pond.
> "Hey now, there's no need for shooting at an innocent frog," a young girl's voice scolds.  "Glub."
> The top of a brown hat breaks through the surface of the water.  Its googly eyes fixate on you.  Then the rest of it emerges and a sleeve-covered hand reaches out of the water to push up the brim.  A pair of wide, shiny eyes blink at you through strands of wet blonde hair.
> "Ah.  Excuse me."  The owner of the hat brushes the hair out of her face.

We haven't heard about anything like that in our travels so far, and we've covered a lot of ground. The closest we have are all the dolphins and sharks swimming around.

> You see Suwako's fingers curling and uncurling under her sleeves.  "So I can understand why you would be suspicious of Kanako.  But what I won't accept is that you're involving Sanae in this."

>Take Suwako to Sanae's shrine.

> Suwako hops out of the water and continues to hop across the grass froggy-style.
> "This way," she calls to you.
> All of the youkai are still there when the two of you make for the shrine's exit.  Many bow at the sight of Suwako, but all you get are looks that vary from apprehensive to outright disdainful.  However, none seem inclined to stop you.
> Suwako leads you a good way down the mountain.  You're now at the part of the mountain with the large trees, where you assume the tengu village to be located.  You and Suwako are headed towards a shrine roof, just barely visible over the tops of the trees.  Now that you're closer, you see that it's quite an impressive shrine.  Could Sanae really be living in such a place?

>Enter.

> "Did she not tell you?" Suwako asks as the two of you land in front of the shrine.  After a brisk walk up the pathway and past the donation box, you're in.
> It's clear that this shrine is well taken care of.  You can almost see your reflections in the hardwood floor.  There are decorations of flowers here and there.  It's very quiet in here, and it gives a sense of being much bigger than it actually is.
> You're not alone in the shrine, however.  Youkai are in the halls, ringing the bell outside, sitting on the deck surrounding the shrine.  You notice that the vast majority of them are tengu.
> "It opened last year," Suwako says in a hushed voice.  "There was a lot of fanfare.  Don't you remember?"
