> How did Suika fit into our clothes? Is she actually able to do more than toggle between normal, giant and tiny?

> Your clothes are pretty big on her, because she's so small to begin with.  She can make herself bigger, but not taller or fuller-figured.  Typical youkai-disguising-as-humans stories you've read about don't apply here.

>Shrug. "I dunno. Same way you get a faerie to do anything, I guess. Oh, and let people who come to complain know I'm on it, alright?"

> Akyuu nods.  "Leave it to me."

> You make sure all your weapons are safe in your inventory, and make haste for Kourindou.  It's on the way to the village.
> You descend the shrine steps and find yourself wallowing in ankle-deep water.  Although the forests closest to the shrine aren't completely submerged, they're still wet and muggy.  Along the way, you either see youkai sitting in high branches shivering wet or fish youkai swimming in flooded creeks.  It's so humid here that you're sweating by the time you reach Kourindou.
> The water is still ankle-deep here, at least the place hasn't completely sunk.  You hear voices coming from inside.

>If not, go bang on a window.

>Who's voices are we hearing, and should we expect trouble?

> Water has most likely already gotten under the door, but you decide to be courteous and bang on a window anyway.  You hear sloshing sounds, and then the door opens to reveal a disgruntled Rinnosuke.  He was one of the voices you heard; the other belongs to the small-fry ibis youkai who works for him.  The worst you're anticipating is getting your sleeves wet.
> "What is it?"  When he sees that it's you, he lets out a small sigh.  "How rare of you to knock."

>Might as well have a quick look.

>Wonder if they have green vegetable juice.

> You leave the window and enter the shop through the front door.  The water makes it difficult to get the door open, but soon enough you're inside the shop with no less water in your shoes than before.  The tables that litter the shop creak under the weight of products that have been piled on them to keep from getting wet.  Things are hanging from the rafters and stuffed onto shelves, but there are still quite a few things that have been rendered useless by the water.  Rinnosuke is stepping away from the window, and you see now that he carrying a bucket of water in each hand, filled from either the water on the floor or the leaks in the ceiling.
> Tokiko is perched on the counter wearing one of Rinnosuke's spare outfits.  She's in the middle of wrapping some brown paper packages in plastic.
> Kourindou rarely sells actual food, so you doubt there'd be any of that kind of juice now.

> In a more businesslike tone, he asks, "Would you like to see what's available anyway?"
