We were talking about Purplequest elsewhere, and the topic came to Rikako.

My problem with your Rikako shown at the beginning is, you made her lab coat too fit and emphasized her curves, rather than overly large and loosely hanging like it is in the game - exactly how a true nerd with no concern for good loooks should dress. This appears to be a conscious decision on your part.

Does this indicate some ideas you have regarding her personality in Purplequest?

Rikako is supposed to appear smart, confident, and sexy. How she is on the inside is another matter entirely. I'll leave this as a matter of "you'll see".

EDIT: While I'm at it, the person I actually have a problem with in her depiction is Satori because I'm having second thoughts about writing her as deadpan when we already have Patch for that. I'll need to make that decision soon.

Satori could be somewhat deadpan, but also sarcastic and semi-trollish. Ala Joseph Joestar.
With the whole "Your next line will be [insert dialogue here]." thing. Y'know, playing with her mindreading ability.

See, Patchy's the standoffish and somewhat antisocial deadpan, while Satori could be the snarky and sarcastic sort.
