That's a dope children's book. Welcome to the forums.

I don't recall, but you may not be able to use an avatar until you make enough posts and become a "regular" member with an orange name. It's either 5 or 10 posts. Otherwise, to use an avatar, it's supposed to be in "Modify Profile" --> "Forum Profile".

Thanks, I was getting a headache looking for it. I edited the OP with a slideshow link with every page

I'm sorry, I find it hard to resist the temptation to add newbies' profile pictures for them. :V You'll soon be able to change it to something else, though.

And I said this on Poosh: It's cute. I liked it.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it, maybe you noticed that one Nameless Fairy who apparently hates Walfas. He suggested to have Doyora do the art. I think his art doesn't seem like the kind you would see in a children's reading book.

That was.... the joke.

:V

Also, don't mistake hatred of Walfas and KirbyM for hatred of create.swf. Create.swf remains as flexible a tool as ever for those who know how to use it well. Walfas itself is... viewed differently by most.

One last thing: If you do run into an artist whose style would be conducive to this, perhaps you could in fact make a Touhou children's book played straight. Such a thing would be adorable and awesome at the same time. I've seen a few pictures in this style, and one doujin author in particular comes to mind, Uri Uri, for having made a children's book-style doujin.

Hope to see more of this; I have a soft spot for children's books.

I don't exactly know why, but page 12 made me giggle out loud.  Great work, man.

I resent that remark!  The Hungry Little Caterpillar was frigging awesome, and I'll defy anyone who says otherwise.

This is pretty funny stuff.

Y'know overall this was a pretty good example of how to use fanon to portray negative stereotypes. It make me chuckle a bit. I like how you made Marisa look like a pimp and/or gangster with that hat 'n mask. Kinda gotta question the lack of background objects though, as your source material at least had some.

Also, create.swf was the perfect tool for the job. The art emulates a children's book perfectly as it is.
