>You make your way in that direction and find that Byakuren is still there, and still asleep. You note that the dishes near her have been removed. You think you can hear some motion in the nearby kitchen.

>He seems to be following you quietly for now, at a few yards distance, and looking around.
>You make your way into the kitchen. It is in good order as you remember it, the table is clean, the counters are in order. A sizable hibachi grill sits off to the side, while various utensils are put away in jars and on shelves.  At the counter, you can see Mr Kirisame with a basin of water and a cloth, in the process of cleaning a plate. He looks over as you walk inside, and says, "You need something else?"

>As far as you can tell, he seems to be ready to go. He has no real way to keep dry, but otherwise seems ready to go.
>You leave the temple. The rain is still falling, and the village is still quiet. To the south, you can see the bulk of the town, while the north quickly gives way to sown fields. Eastward, you can see more of the town, and as far as you know, west of the temple is an old graveyard, and then fields.

>You see one person walking in the rain, and she seems to be headed toward one of the housing blocks. You expect most of the activity would be near the tavern.

>The road is a bit muddy, and there are some puddles to dodge around, but the walk goes well enough. The other pedestrian disappears before either of you can get close.  Soon, you near the tavern, and can hear the familiar cackling of a certain tanuki through the open door.
