>Ball of Ballos

>Offer to make Remilia another Taco to make up for the ruination of her bedsheets.

>You do not have proper clearance level to know if that exists in this game.

>Wink slyly at Remilia and mention that if the bed's already ruined, we may as well ruin it some more.

>Remilia snorts. "No wonder Mystia hid up a tree to get away from you."

> Crouch, count down from 13, then scream 'FREEEEEEEDOOOOOOOOOOOOM!' and charge into the library.

>You crouch and begin to count. The others look at you curiously. Mystia takes a couple steps back; as does Kaguya. Their adaptions to your methodology serve them well as you shout and barge into the library. That was pretty rude, to be honest. I mean, there's probably maids trying to sleep. Maybe Parsee, too.
>You enter the library! It is much as one would expect of an old and well-stocked library; shelves upon shelves of books everywhere; and a balcony running around the room to allow the walls near where the second floor would be to hold more shelves. The floor is crowded with bookcases, but they are organized in neat rows with periodic gaps to allow ease of movement between them. More interestingly, there are a few books that seem to be flying about of their own will, unshelving and reshelving themselves in different locations. The center of the library bears a number of tables of chairs, the vast majority of them empty. Patchouli was sitting at once of them, but the force of your entrance has caused her to tumble over in surprise, and she is presently picking herself up from the floor. Obvious exits are north.

>You consider the shelves. It seems that they have been secured to the floor; perhaps other people had ideas similar to this? I mean, would you put it past Marisa to do this as an escape plan? She ruins everything.

>Are you an elder librarian? No you are not. You would not know L-space if it sold you snake oil.

>ask if Yukari actually means Octarine

>Patchouli, having collected herself from the floor, gives you a look. "I wouldn't be allowed to tell you if was. And...don't I know you?" Then she notices Flandre, and falls quiet for a moment. "Ah, Flandre, I see you are out and about today," she says slowly, clearly picking her words carefully. Flandre nods in response.
>Remilia is presently wearing an uncharacteristic smirk, keeping toward the back of the group.

>You have no cans nor can openers. But perhaps you would be pleased with busting a rhyme?

>Ask Patchy if she'll help you study the Kama Sutra.

>"Somehow," Patchouli answers, "I don't think you're quite far enough along in your studies to properly appreciate the meanings and enlightenment of that that particular tome."
>"Now now," says Remilia, taking on an irritating sort of falsetto tone, still smirking "You don't mean to Miss Knowledge."
>"Oh," says Patchouli, noticing Remilia for the first time, "You're a bit ahead of schedule. Shall I take you to the device?"

>Patchouli blinks, then stares at Remilia for a moment. "...Remilia?"
>Remilia cackles. "About time you noticed! You're still the best read idiot I ever met, Patchy. So what the hell is this device?"
>"But what are you-? How did you-?" Patchouli shakes her head trying to gather up her thoughts.
>"You'll figure it all out," Remilia says, "Now show us that machine already!"
>Patchouli doesn't argue. Instead she stands up with a weary sigh, and walks over to the far side of the library. She fiddles with a switch, which leads one of the bookshelves to open. She starts to gesture for you to enter, but stops as the door behind you opens.
>Looking back, you see Yugi walking into the library, holding bowl of ice cream. "Hey, I heard shouting and the door crash open" she says, "Everything alright in here?"

>"Maybe later." Yugi says, "This'll do me for now." She gestures toward the ice cream with her spoon. "Hey Patchy, you find that thing yet?"
>Patchouli gives a sigh that bespeaks of long suffering and lost patience. "No, Yugi, it is still immune to all known forms of scrying, divination, and detection. I am sorry that I cannot break the laws of magic for you, but that's just how it is."
>"Bah, you're the one of the tops, you'll break that puzzle!" says Yugi with an encouraging smile. "Maybe send these guys out after it once you do. They're plenty rough enough for it."

>"Ah, technology!"

>"Yeah, tell me about it," says Yugi as walks over join the conservation. "Wasn't like that underground, I'll tell you. Well, I hear they tried something with making suns and shit, but I dunno about that."

> Borrow some books

>You have a look at the nearby books. While you could theoretically grab something, finding something you can actually read will be another issue altogether. Yugi takes the time to free up the book she was carrying her under her arm, and put it back on a shelf.
>"Don't just put those wherever!" Patchouli says.
>"I didn't, cripes. I got it from here last time. Gimme a little credit."
>"I am," Patchouli says, "I'm not yelling at you for having food in here."

>prepare for violence if she takes that by the Marisa definition

>So far, no violence. But who knows what the future holds?

>"She's asking me to do the impossible," Patchouli says. "I should be used to it by now."
>"There's this thingum that Parsee wants real back," say Yugi through a mouthful of ice cream, "It's the key to everything. Or at least that's what she tells me. I don't know all the details, she wanted me to keep out of the hunting."
>Patchouli nods. "The Coin of Hodgman, to be precise. It's an item of some infamy in certain...circles. Unfortunately, it's impossible to locate or summon by magic, it's intrinsic nature resists such supernatural controls."
