Yeah, but I gave credit to the artists for the pics, and why do I have to be flamed for something I havent done in,what a year? God.... I wanted to get away from that...........

Also, someone else I know edits pics, alot of people do. It isn't illegal, as long as you don't take credit for the original picture.
The characters, however, are originals...

(BTW, my sig isn't done by me, my friend did it for me.)

...all art here ARE drawn by MIKI herself. None of these are taken from other artists. She told me herself that she doesn't do that anymore, and not for a long time.

I just wanted to make sure. It's not illegal, but it's certainly not something you should be doing. Develop your own skills instead of piggybacking off of other people's. And since you don't do it anymore, it's easy to see how your own art improved considerably since you stopped recoloring other's pictures. Glad to see it

I will say though, while it is cute, everyone has room for improvement. You seem to have posing and clothing down fairly well (I personally adore the way you drew the sleeves in this one), but some other stuff needs work. Heads are not that big, for one thing. It's hard to fix, especially once you start drawing the body. I still do that by accident and it's incredibly annoying

Also, try varying the width and shape of the locks of hair. Congruent triangles are for geometry, not for art. It looks more natural, and I personally think it's more fun to draw (if a bit more work).

Oh, welcome to AAH. I don't think I've seen you around before. It's always nice to see yet another fellow artist join the fun. I'm Mind-The-Gap, AKA Gappy. I'm here as an artist, first and foremost, but I'm also the AAH's forum mod. So if any issues regarding this forum crops up, you can come talk to me ^^

Your art is nicely done. It has potential for great things. Cute too, which is something I look for in art XD

Just a few suggestions for improvement - you may want to work on the head proportions. Some of them were drawn a little too wide. Perhaps you can start with a basic head shape first, with a circle followed by the cheeks. That aside, you've got a good knack for the body, arms, hands and clothing. All in all, you're on your way ^^ Keep it up!

We all copy other people's art to start off and practice. Even I did that to begin...though that was way back when XD However, we should always be honest with that and acknowledge the fact that they were copied. Never should we claim that it is our own work 100%.

By law, plagiarism IS illegal and is a punishable offense. This is especially true in commercial works. And no matter how much we say otherwise, it's what other people think that counts in this matter, unfortunately. Take the case of the recent Bleach plagiarism, for example. So yes, it IS illegal. Never ever take or copy someone else's work without acknowledging it.

Anyhow, sorry for bringing this up XD Consider it friendly advice ^^
