Touhou Demos no music, not even MIDI

I have downloaded the demos for EoSD and PCB. When I returned I did not hear any music, just sound effects. The music was set to MIDI. For EoSD I deleted it and downloaded it again and the music was set to MIDI, but I still did not hear any music.

Did you have staff permission for this? Because You're probably breaking the piracy rules.

You can't. Those demos (through PoFV) are restricted to MIDI, there are no wave samples stored.

Try downloading these MIDIs (link from Drake's project page, same MIDI files as in the games) and see if you can hear any of these in your chosen media player. If not, then something's wrong with your system and MIDI playback. If it does work, then Touhou isn't doing something right.

I tried downloading the MIDIs but I get a message saying the zip is corrupted. How strange, I even created some MIDI sequences and they work fine.

I don't know what happened, but today I cleaned a lot of junk files off my computer and I went to the IN demo and the music worked. I tried EoSD and the music worked, too. Thanks for the help.
