The Old SotW Scoreboard (Under new management)

Okay, you know the drill:

1. NO savestates, ya cheaters :V
2. Any score contending for the #1 spot MUST have a screenshot of the score included. Screenshots are welcome no matter what your score is, just remember to keep it 640x480 or under!
3. This thread is for score submission ONLY. Keep game discussion in the STG thread. I'm going to wipe all of the posts from this thread every week (working as a long-term archive of scoreboards).

4. Update: Please submit ideas for future themes in this thread, as well. Once Friday rolls around I'll pick one of these themes at random and we can all start nominating games over the weekend.

Yeaaaaaaaaaah.
The game gave me 3 extends out of nowhere (not including the ones at 500k and 1.5mil). I wonder if collecting those extends cranks up the rank, because it went from totally doable to wtf is this in nothing flat :V

Worst parts are stage 6 and the final boss, which require some memorization and can easily wreck you if you die too many times.  The second loop is wierd; it starts out almost identical to the first, but the rank seems to go up much faster, and by 2-4 it gets really difficult.

Just a first attempt at a full run to get something written down.  Should have gone better, but I died to the Stage 3 boss with 10 bombs in stock because I thought I understood how he worked (I imagined that if you sit in place and every bullet grazes you, every bullet will continue to graze you until you're forced to move by a big tentacle wave... turns out I was wrong), and I died within two seconds of my second to last death because I now have shit movement speed and forgot I'm playing a game that isn't so nice to give you bomb invincibility.  On the note of the shit movement speed, dear god chaindeathing in this game is bad.  Can't kill anything when you're knocked to low power, can't dodge anything when you're knocked to low speed, and you'll kick up the rank by trying to fix those.

Also, am I wrong to be sticking with Force Lightning for stages? (with the exception of especially hefty targets)  I'm also thinking the spiral firebomb is the only bomb worth using for survivability due to its relative screen clearing effect.
