Hiyas SockHyren, welcome to Alice's Art Atelier. I'm the local acolyte, Mind-The-Gap. Most people call me Gappy. I'm sort of the local representative, so if you ever need anything with regards to the Atelier, please don't hesitate to tell me ^^

Now with the official stuff out of the way, these are really, really well done. The art style is unique, not to mention cute. The inking is superbly done and the colouring is very professional.

The quality of the humour is fantastic - Meirin swiping Marisa's broom and fishing up Reimu was both giggle-worthy and adorable in a way. And battleship-Keine-hat is amazing. That oversized turret atop the ship was the icing on the cake.

All in all, very well done. I hope to see more from you. Also, I invite you to take part in our next art/music competition which will take place around the end of May. I'm sure your work will make another fine addition to Fransu's trophy cabinet.

Well damn! These are way more comments than I'm used getting. I'm glad you guys liked my stuff! I have a DevArt account, though a good deal of the stuff there isn't Touhou related, and I'm not sure what the policy is on that, so I'll keep it safe and leave things here in the realm of Gensokyo for now.

Still waiting for me new tablet pen. Since I was bored, I tried drawing with the working eraser end of my old pen, and it was kind of awkward. I could sketch with it, but inking is out of the question. But, this gave me an excuse to learn how to properly use Inkscape. This is the result, please excuse my excessive use of gradient.

Going through my old pics, trying to finish up stuff I started, and do stuff I said I was going to do. The above drawing still isn't finished, but I've been working on it for a bit too long for my taste, and I wanted to at least put up a progress shot. Not completely satisfied with the background, but I'm not sure what else to add.

I wanted to do a DevArt ID update, but for some reasons I couldn't think of anything for the fairies to do...except for yuri for some reason. I'd rather keep it worksafe for now, so I avoided that. But, I read this post on pooshlmer earlier:

That...is something I didn't completely think through. It was more for effect, really. I was thinking about how leaves have little veins in them, but went overboard with it.
