Well, I suppose I should have said that it was moreso a lot of gossip. Quite a bit. It definitely seems like a place where you all discuss your antics in secret, then discuss whether the forum is ready to see it. 7/10 times, it was "I'm really sick of them right about now, let's not."

Plus, a mod staff disliking the general lot of it's members is almost guaranteed. Think about the numbers at MotK, and how many of them don't post.

What you and others saw on the mod forums is one thing. I can deal with ... some of that. Other stuff is embarrassing, I'll admit it. "Half the staff hates 3/4 of the users here" is just not true, though, and it's not a good idea to contend that it is.

I just hope to Yukari that Ruro's fixed things by now. I was watching a movie with the family, sign in this morning and was like, "Oh fuck ..."

A reason that really doesn't translate to massive moral breaking. I mean crap, the staff forum shouldn't be private because we're UNWORTHY SLIME WHO CAN'T LOOK AT IT, and the mere act is a terrible offense to the staff.

It should be because we don't need to toss our two cents in on most of the crap that goes on in the staff forum. It's not a privilege for the staff, it's a necessity. Morally there is nothing wrong with looking at the staff forum. It should be just plain boring to do.

The fact that it seems to be treated as some super secret club hideout DO NOT TOUCH, rather than a forum with a subject matter not pertaining to normal users, seems worrying. I'm going to pass it off as normal user paranoia for the moment.

Though, I've never looked at the staff forum myself, what do I know? I'd be pretty disappointed if it really was some kind of staff only CPMC.

I won't argue with that. And if someone wants to look at it just to see the boring work staff has to do, alright.
But, come on, people were looking for stuff to make a scandal out of, that's human nature unfortuantely. And we know what that kind of drama stuff like that can cause here on MotK.

But yeah, let's hope I'm just being overcautious here.

And apparently staff has decided to have fun with it now, so whatever :V

I'm not a coder, so I have no idea. All I know is staff were panicked for a while there, but now we're like, "Ah well. Que sera sera". Maybe it's karma that you all got to see that forum. The gods broke our code for divine retribution or something.

For a while the Penny-Arcade forums broke the "Last post" column on forum indexes so every single "last post" on the board was shown as being made by the same user at the same time (it never changed for as long as that bug persisted, either).

I was kind of wondering what was going on at first until I saw Nobu's Update for Ijiyatsu thread which completely gave it away :P _{_{_{_{_{_{_{_{along with several other threads}}}}}}}}

I mean really now an update on Ijiyatsu is about as realistic as a 50's monster movie :V _{_{_{_{_{_{_{_{Just kidding of course.}}}}}}}}
