That is why Fightest is summoned to take care of this.

You want me to give other people theme tunes as well? Now I really am putting on my tinfoil hat. The "Use Fightest for Fun and Profit" conspiracy won't find me if they can't scan my brain!

In all seriousness, while I can reasonably go from Music to Character, I can't do it the other way 'round. I'm morbidly fascinated with bestowing people with misleading and unrepresentative character traits through the "theme tunes" others give them, but going beyond that is, currently, beyond me.

Very yes. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdDnQYCI-P4)

I am uncertain if Purvis can be contained in a single theme regardless of quality.

Slaves' self-analysis of themeitude is correct.

This (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAF5YplXWBE)

this is seriously fantastic :3

BTW, allow me to sperg about TF2 for a sec: Valve likes to play up the rivalry between spies and snipers, but honestly spies aren't much of an issue. I've killed more than my fair share of spies with either the kukri or the SMG (I don't use the razorback, I like having a close range weapon to fall back on)

Pyros are the real threat. They can come in fast enough that they're hard to hit and do enough damage that fighting one close up is basically suicide. I hate pyros now, and I used to consider them my best class. :(

I just wanted to get that off my chest. That's all, you may go back to posting cool videos!

Just a short comment from you on what people put forward as their theme songs will be fine. You can give a recommendation if you have one in mind.

So be it. Jedi.

Going from the top, only doing those I can identify with a specific poster. If I don't know who's being referred to, tough.

Disclaimer: You will be getting highly misleading and unrepresentative character traits. Put those libel lawsuits and flamethrowers away. Theme tunes that others have posted for someone take precedence over what that someone has posted for themselves, and first submission takes precedence over all others, unless someone really cares. Finally, I reserve the right of well-intentioned snark, as this is all in the sense of fun.

Kilgamayan - Max 300 - Ω

A mess of noise, instruments and sound effects with only a passing resemblance at a leading melodic line, constancy being sustained solely by the characteristic drum part. Mostly minimalist in its composition, the track relies on repeating ostinatos to form a compelling musical experience. Thus, Kilgamayan's character is clearly formed of a collection of static thoughts and memes that combine into what appears to be a consistent greater whole. Despite not seeming to know what he'll be doing in the next few seconds to others, Kilgamayan adheres to a very specific set of rules that are only known to him. Because of this, nobody can really tell what Kilgamayan is thinking, as he takes great care to not show that he is thinking at all.

Slaves - Ernie and Bert go BRUTAL

Rules go out of the window for this one, as this track is basically designed to destroy the senses. The track lulls the listener into a stupor by blasting them with a wall of sound, leaving them drained and unable to resist any further damage the track might be willing to inflict upon them. Apparently there's a song somewhere in there, the track description says, but the only vocals that can be heard are hoarse roars. Not that the listener cares about the difference at this stage any more, the track can claim to cure cancer, and the listener will still sit there in a daze and agree with everything. It occurs to me, then, that being around Slaves for a long time can be dangerous, as he seems to possess strange powers of hypnotism. Who knows what he'll do to you while you're sitting there with a stupid grin on your face, oblivious to the world around you?

Hizengar Byakuren - The Sword that Cleaves Evil

The track appears to carry a well-thought-out melodic line through its full two minutes, although lack of variety and of a defined chorus leads to a degree of repetitiveness. The very positive nature of this track, however, overcomes any potential boredom issues with a great enthusiasm for what's going on at the moment. Unfortunately, the track seems to get distracted very quickly and always seems unsure of what it's trying to emphasize at any given moment, leading to textural and instrumental overload in completely unexpected places. Additionally, the sound effects, although aggressively enthusiastic, distract from the rest of the track. Thus, Hizengar Byakuren tends to have an enthusiastic, positive and constructive outlook on things, but tends to, in what is probably a manly manner, get distracted by more important things, like explosions and shiny things, at the most unexpected and inopportune times.

Pesco - Nikukyuu Myah Myah.

The track starts off somewhat focused on what it is trying to do, and that is to kill the listener with diabetes. The introduction has no melodic commitment whatsoever, instead deciding to juggle a few ostinatos here and there and never going into the lower registers, as if the piece doesn't understand the concept of "not sugary, syrupy, face-crushingly sweet". This is a dire warning of what is to come when the vocals come in, designed to trigger as many moe switches as it possibly can - high-pitched and slightly nasal for childish, girly cuteness, major key for an energetic happiness, insistence on what seem to be nonsense words to reinforce the childish vibe. Unfortunately the track loses...well, track, as it begins talking to itself just as it is about to strike the killing, deliciously sugary blow. Oh, it tries to reassert itself, but the listener knows what's coming now, and the syrupy gambit falls flat on its chocolatey face. And so is Pesco - daring to use any means, any plans, even underhanded ones involving candy, to get what he wants. Unfortunately these are very touch-and-go, with little planning being compensated for by excessive application of any and all resources, as Pesco has no notion of "overkill". Inevitably, what Pesco's doing comes to a crashing halt when the initial steam has run out, and anything afterwards just isn't the same any more.

I'd choose three songs, one "normal" and two touhou songs.

My Past self's "hymn" would be this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsCukDKvuKU
My past self really said this is his "hymn" or "nationale" or something like that, because he said it defined him.
After a really bad, "half-traumatistic" event, my old self was destroyed, and I've developed a more open, rational thinking, two worldviews, two distant "personality", so they could both analyze a situation or an idea, and argue, so in the end I should reach a suitable answer. These two personalities could be defined with two touhou themes:

For the BLUE personality: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvLBi8VNKzk

For the GREEN personality: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eE1n3_EuwxI

What the? I'm blue!

This is kinda fun.

MJP - G Gundam OST Burning Gundam Battle Theme

What it loses out in creativity, the track makes up for in volume and self-indulgent drama. There is exactly one theme, which the track makes sure the listener remembers by drilling it into the listener's brain. Due to there not being a lot to drill, what with the theme being no more than 10 notes long, the approach resorts to a cluster-bomb approach, with variation upon minor variation on the core theme, until the listener's brain resembles a charred battlefield. The track doesn't stop there, however: it uses all the usual approaches to instilling drama - instrumentation, constant changing of harmony, dense texture - where there is no reason to be any, lending the piece a sense of self-importance that nobody really understands. If this is about MJP, then MJP is capable of making anything, no matter how minor, huge and important for reasons nobody really understands. A master of blowing things out of proportion, MJP understands that if anyone is required to pay attention, then explosions and flashing lights make up for lack of substance.

Letty - BEES.MP3

I probably don't need to describe this track. An alternation between emotionless electronic chords and people saying, "bees", this is strongly minimalist, yet has more character than the average Touhou remix. Letty, as the track suggests, does not have a lot to work with, and he realises this. To compensate for lack of resources, he comes up with solutions that never occur to an average (read: sane) mind, yet there is a mad brilliance in these solutions, a definite constructive thought process that can be heard if one rises above the medium (read: vile spawning pit) from which these solutions came from. The piece, however, suggests that Letty, at his core, is nothing but an emotionless machine, which explains how he can operate in such conditions (read: mind-crushing hell), do whatever it is he is programmed to do, and remain functional.

Sorry bro, the Disclaimer has spoken. No takebacks.  :V

Yo, son, I will disclaim you so hard it'll make your subpoenas retract all the way into your briefs.

Bro, I've been disclaiming long before you were filing slander lawsuits on your diapers. I've gotten away with contempt of court in twelve systems. I've seen things you won't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. You speak of briefs? You can't handle the briefs!

nintendonut888 - DONUT SONG / Tatsuro Yamashita

And here we have... Japanese Reggae? Reggae, originating in Jamaica, was a music originally developed as a positive community drive in desperate situations - oppression, poverty and the like, hence its prominently major key, light instrumentation and drums and, presumably, optimistic lyrics that work well when sung with a crowd of like-minded people. However, someone seems to have gotten lost somewhere, and wandered across half a continent and an ocean and found themselves in Japan, where the socio-political situation hardly calls for community gatherings to get back at "the man". It thus appears that nintendonut888 is hopelessly lost in a land that needs no heroes of his caliber. His revolutionary and rebellious mindset is a powerful driving force, but he is never in the right place to use it, and so ends up looking like an inappropriate firestarter, railing against greater forces that he does not understand only to see anarchy brought to the world around him.
