In this case the bombs are necessary. I for one would like to see how you would handle the stuff that happens on the IN Extra Stage if you don't bomb.

Sure, if you just die instead then things are passable. I was thinking about perfect pacifism (not dying, bombing or shooting) being impossible and indeed believe it to be so. Especially since some enemies just never stops shooting. However, reaching Mokou without bombing or shooting - still allowing deaths, would still be pretty cool.

I'll show you my current path through the first batch when I get home (I fail the dodgem section immediately after though, suckplayer and such). I game over pretty much immediately on the second batch but I only bothered saving the one replay (which happened to be my first successful pass through the first batch of "impossible" enemies) so you can't really see the progress I've made on the second section yet :V

Let's just say it's possible and y'alls need to be less quick to judge things as impossible without putting any effort into it.

According to this I guessed that you had to No Miss the first two stages, but it didn't work when I tried it.

Also I figured out something neat: by double tapping shot when you are at 999 multiplier on Advanced and Unlimited it clears the screen and fills it with point items but halves your multiplier. However if you do it while going through the POC and not shooting you restore it to 999. Very important for both survival and score at max rank.

i  can reach Mokou without  shooting  and bombing btw.
the biggest issue is the fairies near the end, i am talking about the ones before the death fairy,thats a hard part ,if u have a route i would like to see it.

FINALLY EOSD LUNATIC 1CC!  Man lemme give you a brief summary of the run.

Stage 1:Perfect
Stage 2: 4 bombs on cirno (this was terrible x.x)
Stage 3: 2 deaths (1 in stage 1 at meiling)
Stage 4: 1 death on patchy
Stage 5: 2 deaths (1 in stage 1 at sakuya)
Stage 6: the worst part here was the fact that i died to the opening bubble in scarlet gensokyo >.> I couldve gotten full power and cleared the bullets too.  owell

Finished 0/0  :derp:  This is worse than usual due to me being crazy nervous. For those interested: Replay

Still I'm impressed that even with the early deaths (I wonder if it's because of them that you 1cc'd the game.. accidental rank control based on amount of lives or misses?) you somehow managed to get through Sakuya's confusing bullet hitboxes.. nice work!

Good job. You even passed 99.9% of Scarlet Gensokyo without dying!
The no-death stage 4 was also something I still can't manage to do.
I really should try Marisa A lunatic someday; maybe her attack strength really is that much more than Marisa B.

Early deaths seem to be quite common
In my first 1cc, I died twice in each of the stages 3,4,5,6 :V

It's not atatic, but isn't too difficult to dodge. The only problem is finding a path through the endless shooting guys after Keine, the rest is pretty easily doable.

I warned you that I died on it at the time :/ It's the only replay I've saved that gets through the first batch of fairies and I happened to die on the stuff after. I also completely forgot what was going on after Keine and died horribly to that stuff too :V

2 extends on stage 1 of LLS!  Goal complete!  I'm pretty sure this is the only game where this is possible aside from UFO, which doesn't care about point items with its extends anyway.  SoEW *might* be possible, but I can't see it happening with no bomb auto-collect (feel free to prove me wrong!), and I'm not counting PoFV because on stage 1 the AI's too stupid to live through 1 extend, let alone 2.

I didn't do Maze of Love the correct way since I hate it and I safe spotted Starbow Break to save resources (because I'm a wuss) but I'm happy with this. It's my best first time clear yet (in terms of captures anyway.)

Five previous attempts met their end on Q.E.D and one time I "almost" captured it. This time I played it safe and bombed the hell out of  it.
