A Different Problem
« on: November 08, 2010, 02:28:08 PM »
Has a strange tendency of failure. I removed IN from one of mine after it [PCB does now] started coughing up

I'm not entirely sure what's happening, but it worked on a different computer literally five minutes ago. I still haven't beaten Phantasm, and I haven't bothered to back it up. Please tell me what's going on.

It would help if it weren't in jibberish. Try running it in AppLocale.

I wouldn't know what it's doing unless someone translated the error message. I run PCB and IN on my flash drives all the time and they work wonderfully. You sure that the problem isn't with your drive itself? (ie: viruses and stuff, although I think you might know if you have a virus. can't hurt to check though)

Also, you are using the vsync patch right? (for some reason, vsync usually fixes everything)
I figured out how to play midi in games with a different device on Win7 ^^

....Oh?
Problem averted. Looks like the fix was going home and screwing with the location of the files.

Or something.
Maybe the school computers just suck.

This is possible. The computers at college here don't even have the dx...dll file (whatever it was called) so you can play the later games unless you put the dll on your flash drive.
