I spoiled myself at home by trying web access in my silly slow phone? I giggled like heck reading these posts on my phone >/////////////<
? Eheh~, Loving all of them
<3Going to need to write stuff down first in order for it to rhyme. Can't just go blabbing in random order and expect it to work.
Huh, I haven't thought of rhyming the words. I was more concerned about the process of recording & singing, like if there's noise or the tempo of singing is too fast or too slow?
Though yeah, it couldn't hurt and it'd sound much cooler if we rhyme things |D
and
Have you seen the original video? Some people sound bored as hell. :V
I wanted to point that out, too xD
I mean, I thought of not having too many requirements/restrictions in the recording, especially for those having difficulty recording in private and the likes.
Flexible conditions, like whatever accent/dialect you have that might obstruct to the English pronunciation, it's Okay!
Nnnn, we could also put in some kind of a "local language" part some stanzas later in the song, where the person sings it in his own language? or maybe not.
? In case if it's very impossible to record, I guess he could? contribute his loved things and
choose one person able to record to sing it for him >:3
Matsy-chan, if you don't enter this i'm disowning you :< Of course not really ilu but you better participate
OK, nevermind what I just said -- The recording of your own " I love MotK" has gotta be your own voice! >:3
On a completely different note, is there a specific tune we're playing to, or is it free-style?
We'll use the original video as a basis of the melody, then from that you can off-tune the melody a little.
If you'd want to insert something that doesn't follow the correct number of syllables or the thing you love doesn't sound good when pronounced in the melody's beat, you can disregard the melody and semi-follow/totally not follow the beat.
"I love the humor, and all Ha ha, old chap!"

For accurate basis purposes or whatever, the original song seems to play at 130bpm.
But what if we have questionable recording equipment (whoo earphones /o/)
|D No prob, as long as your song's understandable, I think.
For one, I'm using my digicam, capture a video for voice-recording and later extract the audio from it.
and hate hearing our recorded voice so much we would be hesitant to even listen to it to make sure it went through okay? :<
Upload it anyway -- we'll get to judge for you if it's okay or not, heheheh >:3
We could use a combi -- first stanza rhyming, the next loosely worded/toned or something.
Nnnn, then what about the distribution of the lyrics?
There'll be cases that one person has written in his part that another one want in his part. Maybe put each of their
"I love a certain fish." recordings in separate stanzas (if you don't mind redundancy), or put them together in one
"I love a sakana." like they're singing in duet.
? Eh, so those are what ran through my mind |D? at least, what I got to write from my mind, anyway.
Do ask when my statements puzzled you. I'm
, uhh, quite explanation-messy ~_~;;
and I don't have the final say on everything about this? r-right? :ohdear:
Here's a supposed-to-be-provided-in-my-first-post sample I recorded & edited some days ago :3

I love shrine maidens.
I love the colonvee.
I love acoustics.
I love the Fairy Wars.
I love MotK.
And all its Idiots.
Boom de yada, boom de yada,
Boom de yada, boom de yada.
I sang whatever I thought fits the syllable count |V? It follows the original's 5th-6th stanza being about the whole world, though will not seem to be necessary in all stanzas of the MotK version, I think.
