I ended up getting The Potato Sack on Steam, so I've been running through the whole Imperishable Night soundtrack on Audiosurf from it. And contemplating if I should get rid of my Potato Hat in TF2 for something better, of course.

Trying GTA 4 right now since it's been sitting on my Steam account with nothing to do for ages. It's certainly more compelling than I thought it would be. The organized crime and characters are far more complex than previous entries, which seemed to possess more one-dimensional stereotypes than previously thought imaginable. The controls may certainly feel a lot different than from what I remember of the older 3d GTA games, but that stopped bothering me less than a half hour in.

Also, no bonuses from 'finding' the 'hidden packages'? I guess it's a trade-off between that and keeping your weapons after being wasted.

Trading it, actually. I can get a few nice v. hats for it, or a set of Earbuds for it and the pin. Which, of course, would go into my Big Kill trading stockpile. It's the last weapon I need to complete my collection, other than the Sticky Jumper.

On topic, I've been doing a pacifist run on Fallout: New Vegas. Having 10 Luck sets you for life on caps, considering you win every hand you play in the casinos. Still waiting for news on the new DLC...

On other note, I managed to use no continues up to Seseri Mark II in Espgaluda. Having the Autofire Toggle switch on a keyboard is a blessing; No more tapping the firekey like there's no tomorrow.

Broke down and bought Dissidia 012 on the PSN.

This game is so much better than the first holy crap. The writing is fantastic (instead of gut-wrenchingly terrible), the story's moderately intriguing, and the new characters are great, and I'm loving all the changes to the gameplay - both in-battle and out.

I'm currently trying and failing horribly at the Portal Advanced Test Chambers in order to prepare for Portal 2 (less than 7 hours away!). Man I'm so excited to see a full-length Portal game and trying out all the new goodies, test chambers, and meeting GLaDOS again.

TF2 is refusing to launch for me, which is sad.

Started playing FFX for the hell of it. I've only played it all the way through once. Still have that file, 118 hours. Everyone who is not Auron, Rikku, or Wakka is in horrible shape.

Uh, are you playing on Bitter? Bad Girl (rank 2) took me 350-ish hits with loads of darkstep and wrestling move action, Henry took 35 minutes and 952 hits. And that was with the fully upgraded katana. Youtube video on someone doing it without said upgrades: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9fnNhrxh1c&feature=related . Note the hit count. I checked out the alternate strategies and the lowest hit count I saw was 390-ish from a strategy that involved charging attacks.

To go along with GTA4 or even to counter it (you know you're bad at being a criminal when you apologize to guys you're meant to kill and fail missions for stopping to make sure someone safely crosses the street), I just started up Suikoden 5. I haven't played any of the Suikoden games in years, but it already feels wonderfully reminiscent of 2. I also hear Viki is at her best in this one and I'm a HUGE Viki fan.

I find it funny that I'm playing Fighting games again, as they hold top-tier on my list of the 'Most Anger-Inducing Things'. As for Touhouvania II, I'm not actually playing it (At the time of this Post), but I will be once I can figure out how to install the English Patch (Not having any Tutorials on how to do so doesn't help).
In all honesty, I'm just randomly choosing and playing games that sound interesting to order to bide my time until the release of Uncharted 3 (Anyone?).

Finally remembered to get some prepaid MS points (not about to start using my card for obvious reasons) so I've been on a Live Arcade binge recently.

Trouble Witches Neo (bought) - About time this got released. Bought in a heartbeat.
Limbo (won't buy) - Beautiful presentation but was a bit too simplistic and will doubtlessly have zero replay value.
Hard Corps Uprising (will probably buy) - Seemed decent enough and I'll support Arc System Works out of principle. May get the PSN version instead though since I generally prefer the PS3 controller.
Yar's Revenge (will buy) - I'm weak to rail shooters. Waiting for the supposed PSN release in case I like the controls more or they make some improvements.
Strania (will buy) - Enjoyable shmup plus I'll support G.Rev etc
Islands of Wakfu (won't buy) - Loved the aesthetics but it didn't hold my attention.
Might and Magic: Clash of Legends (will buy) - Where'd this come from? Tried it out on a whim but it was actually incredibly good fun and a steal at the price.

I'm almost there.

Aside from epic fail against the boss (which, admittedly, is completely batshit random - it committed suicide on me on the first hit twice), I've gotten Epiphany in BIT.TRIP FLUX down to just four misses. I can thread the needles easily, I consistently grab every single Bonus Beat, and the only thing stopping me from a true Perfect are the ADD sections.

And this was from a cold start.

I've already no-missed Perception's boss, and I've gotten Catharsis' boss down to one miss.

I fear I may need to warp my own perception to find my Perfect.

Ninja Gaiden II - Way of the Mentor (I am crying)
- also doing an Eclipse Scythe run now that I'm finished with the Vigoorian Flail.
Final Fantasy IX - PS1 broke, so playing on the PS3. This makes the seventh playthrough.
Zelda: A Link to the Past - going through the game without picking up anything unnecessary. That includes bottles,
heart pieces, upgrading the sword or boomerang, Bombos Medallion, Blue or Red Mail, etc. This should be fun.
