> Hunt down Fightest and gut him!

You don't know who this Fightest is, But the Fightest Fighter is probably FIGHTER. And you're not taking him on, Those dual SWORD-CHUCKS scare the hell out of you.

> We don't have time for that. Let's be the Cattest for the moment and deal with the matter of who's the Fightest later.

> Enter Mansion, still in stealth mode.
> Start systematic examination of every room. If something catches our eye, do a more thorough search.

You resolve to stick with being the Cattest for the moment. Its pretty easy, you don't really have any competition for that spot anymore.

You enter the SCARLET DEVIL MANSION, prepared for sneakyness.

> Steer clear of the basement until the rest of the mansion is searched.
> Be on the look out for any weapons. Prefferably something small and light, like, maybe some knives or something.

You decide the Basement isn't very likely to hold anything of value, but you resolve to check it last, given the layout, that may be the best option anyway.

You go through the rooms slowly and systematically. The FOYER is a mess, most of the fighting probably happened here. Scattered china is all around the TEA ROOM. You'd check out SAKUYA'S ROOM, but unfortunately, its blocked by debris. There are a few side rooms left on the first floor to check, for some reason, the library's entrance appears to be on the SECOND FLOOR.

You begin through the SIDE ROOMS, which house a variety of broken trinkets. You take some BROKEN SHARDS from various trinkets. You could probably throw them in a scuffle, but you'd need to be careful with the timing.

...You feel like you're being watched.

You fall to the typical horror movie gambit and call out. You listen.

...Thanks to your KITTY HEARING, you manage to catch a light giggle. There is something here for sure...

You question whos there, not letting an inch of fright seep into your voice. You don't get much of a response this time.

> Ready some BROKEN SHARDS.

You decide to take the high ground, readying use of your shards. The high ground in this case is pretty much the second floor. You contemplate using the walls. Instead, You opt for the stairs.

One of your voices is sad at this.

You opt into the shadows, keeping near the windows. Both of you appear to be keeping quiet and hiding. This could become incredibly dull!

You decide to wait. You're not particularly known for patience, and you really don't have unlimited time!

>No can do, S'in the manual folks.

You can smell... tea? You shouldn't be able to smell tea here.

It sounded like someone probably OLDER than you appear to be right now, given, in gensokyo, it doesn't tend to matter much. Given the only person you've met personally was the maid, You are very sure it is not that knife throwing lunatic. She'dve just knifed you.

You attempt to sneak nearerways the strong concentration. You don't think you're seen yet, and you don't notice anyone else yet.

You avoid whimpering, That'd give you away.

You consider this, After all, Yuyuko was a fairly nice ghost. If a bit...odd at times. And Youmu wasn't half bad.

> Use a reflective SHARD to peek around corners. Keep another SHARD handy for stabbings.

You try using the shard to peek around the corner. It glimmers! You've been given away! A DEMON strikes from the shadows! This is serious enough to require another line!

You roll away, and attempt to threaten your attacker with a shard of pottery. She does not appear to be impressed, And comes in for another round!

>Did I stutter?

You recall that the SDM's magician had a demonic familiar. You'd assumed she worked like a shikigami, but you may have been wrong. So its possible she might've survived her attack... If it is her, shes certainly grown. You probably couldn't call her little anymore.

You resolve to try and toss some dust in her face to blind her. You end up grasping a rock instead, and clonking her in the head with it. You take the moment to get away to a more advantageous position.

You really really don't want to fight right now. You express this verbally and by acting defensively, and intinctively apologizing about the rock. You're really just a bit away from panicing.

Thankfully, she seems to find it amusing enough to emit another giggle.

"You're here to raid the mansion too though, right? You even have the gateguard's cap! I'm supposed to protect it for the mistress."

"It doesn't excuse your stealing~ But you can stay, just don't take anything more!"

The DEMON appears to have been appeased. The battle is over.
