>Not terribly much. Usually you use several knives. Or get your opponents into situations where dodging is very difficult when seeking to conserve.

An elegant maid must find elegant solutions. No exceptions.

I will admit that the actions I took were setting up another time stoppage - baiting her in close enough that she wouldn't be able to dodge another attack quite as well (and her being currently airborne helps this out). We are - or at least should be - able to throw knives while time is stopped, which allows us to attack and dodge at the same time.

I had previously objected to time stopping because I'm treating it as equivalent to bombing (which is the canon approach, as evidenced by the conversation with Reimu). Since we've done it once, though, we've already lost our chance at the capture equivalent, so I don't mind doing it again.

>What kind of patterns do we normally make?

>You couldn't make a ball, but you could make almost a hemisphere. The knives would be reasonably dense.
>Typicaly you like to mate fans and lines, and mix them in interesting ways. Typically you're fighting someone who is also using danmaku, rather than trying to gore you with primitive weapons.
