> Renew our pursuit of that tail, though we should try not to fly directly toward that flailing chain.
> While moving, look toward Seiga and point toward the right side of the behemoth, hopefully indicating to her that we want her to approach it from there.
> Once she's seen us, turn our head back forward so we're actually focusing on our target again.

>You indicate for Seiga to approach the behemoth from the side. She shifts rightward, curving toward the behemoth rather than you.
>The behemoth has slowed, and you are gaining ground on it. Going near its tail now may be dangerous.

 > Pull our sword back out, holding it in a ready-to-slash manner, and drift a liiiiittle bit to the left. We should at least be left enough to be well out of range of the flailing chain if we happen to get very close to the tail.

>You close in on its tail, giving wide berth to the steel trap, as you prepare your sword to strike. Ahead, it seems to be lunging toward Tojiko, or so you assume.

>Its tail looms ahead. You close in on it and bring your blade down! It between the behemoth's scales, and you can feel something like cords being cut as you open another gash. Its tail jerks way from you quickly, and you can see the rest of the behemoth moving as well.

>"How presumptuous," says the behemoth. "Perhaps you should turn your contemplations toward yourself, if those are the kinds of things you're thinking. Besides, everyone with some knoweldge of ornithology knows that owls are not particularly intelligent birds, so you most certainly are in no place to pass judgment!"
