Absolutely not. All feelings on the use of Reality Play-Doh aside, that's Mary's surprise to spring, not ours.

>It takes a bit of searching, but you are able to find a few points of entry. Two of them are not safe, three of them are for the time being. You aren't able to determine more than relative levels of stability; there is a kind of stable one, a very unstable one, and a not quite stable one.

HERE WE GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

> Let's head to the third one, then. A little risky, but better than the second.

>You head for the one of middling stability.
>You step through, and find yourself in the middle of a wasted plain, bathed in soft purple light. Beneath your feet, and stretching in every direction, is a hardened and compacted mass of green, yellow-white, and brown, looking somewhat like very strange form of rough and colorful ceramic. You suspect you are in the forests, and in particular standing in one of your footprints. Looking toward the sky, you can see that the colors have vanished, replaced with a kind of dark purple morass that looks somewhat like sludge. The borders here are stable enough for the time being you should be able to open another gap, and with all of your tools, it shouldn't be hard to go to any other place that can support a gap.

>There is, in theory, an awful lot of forest to explore. However, when you did your circuit around it, you found that much of it was unremarkable. This said, beyond the sun disk was one of the gaps that manipulated size upward.
>You think it would be some distance to the north.

>You do so, and step out to to find an immense borderless hole of glowing purple where the gap used to be, stretching for yards in every direction,  tendrils of it spreading through the surrounding trees and landscape. Many of the trees have fallen, and others seems to have...somewhat collapsed upon themselves, or lack of a better term. Being unable to fly, you find the ground more uneven and treacherous than before. It's difficult to make your way downward, though you find that a non-trivial amount of the underbrush is simply gone, leaving bare dirt in its place. You hear a couple of trees fall in the distance as you proceed onward. It's hard to tell where the original path was, and as you reach the bottom of the hill, you don't see anything of interest.
