Well, if that is the case I would like my Latin (albeit surely broken) versions of those Titan names/types be official here. The Latin language has been naming stuff awesomely since the dawn of written science and there is no reason to change it. (especially Homo Erectus - I mean, damn.)

Homogiganteus Collosus does sound cooler I guess.

It's rather difficult not to be a fan of Sasha. I love the ponytail-back-bangs-forward look too. Kinda thrown off with Yuu Kobayashi as her VA because I'll ALWAYS associate it with Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei's Kaere Kimura, whose voice is an octave lower in pitch and a fine shoe-in for what one might imagine Yuugi Hoshiguma's voice sounding like. Deep and robust but effeminite.

Everything has pretty much gone the way it has gone in the manga thus far. The only real difference is that they decided to show some of the flashbacks from the manga as they happen.

The adaptation is pretty close so far, but you should still read the manga because there's no way in hell they're going to cover everything in 25 episodes. Also, precisely because of all the foreshadowing in the story, knowing what happens later makes certain scenes really interesting to (re)watch in the anime :V

One caveat is that the art in the manga is really rough and a bit hard to follow. It's not bad by any means, but it gets really hard to tell characters apart at times. The first time through, I didn't even realize Christa and Ymir were in the training camp arc.
