Were you able to get my other friends Gatchpon stuff? He also wants to know if you can include some Japanese candy, specifically Shinrabanshou Choco, if that's available by you. He says its a region thing

For an event like this, it not only depends on how many they bring, but if they'll let me buy more than one. I can certainly try though. Go ahead and send $40 for now and I'll see what I can do. If I get it, we'll work out a final total, and if I don't I'll refund it.

BTW, I did get the gatchapon figure he wanted, but I had to get the whole set plus one extra beforehand, so it was 1200 yen.

I also just got confirmation that they will be selling the Rachnera GK we couldn't get last time, but in limited amounts. Think you can maybe try to grab her first? Still seeing if I can maybe have them hold one, since they said it may be possible

Ok. Sent the $200. As for shirt sizes. Large is fine. I know it will be hard to get one of each, but certainly happy with whatever you can grab. I don't believe they do reserves, but I wouldn't know where or how to ask them specifically.

Question: how hard do you think it would be to get some shushuroku figures for non-crazy prices? Like around 3000? or less price range. (maybe 4000 for certain ones, up to 6000 for mokou, Sakuya, or satori)

edit: I have sanae, patchy, nazrin, yuuka, and komachi already, looking for pretty much everyone else.

I'm not really sure where else I could get them at this point though. I know there are second-hand stores in Akiba and the like, but trying to dig them up can be time-consuming. Just throw any other auctions or Suruga-ya links at me and I'll get them that way.

I can't find any other Suruga-ya or auction links for rarer ones unfortunately (there is this one, on sale I think? http://www.suruga-ya.jp/product/detail/185029211001). Majority of my searches lead to blogs (which give some information on which stores had them as bonuses) but very little to actual buying them stand alone.

You're out of luck until someone sells them another copy, yeah. The other link is available though, should be another $8 or so.

If you're that determined to collect them, the best way I could recommend is to just periodically search Yahoo Auctions, Suruga-ya, and maybe Mandarake. There's another auction site called mbok that might help.

Also, I would like to take this opportunity to announce the formal acceptance of Comiket 90 requests. The process is the same as always: send me a list, I'll give you an estimate, and you send as much of that as possible before August 10th. I will be accepting requests for Day 2 this time around but I won't be making them high priority. Anything I can't get at the event I'll attempt to get in stores. No 18+ items.

Last time I only accepted like two requests per person for day 2 and nothing at all for Reitaisai, but this time I will make more of an effort to get stuff, but not as hard as previous years, basically.
