Informative Posting from pbg's twitter thread

"I found this while I was cleaning out my hard drives.  I first thought I'll post it during April Fool's Day, but since I'll be busy around that time, I decided to post it earlier."

"At the stage of Shuusou Gyoku Prototype, there were not even a hint of "M" of Maid, it was a shooting game with cactus as the main playable character.  During PC-98 days, I was making a game with cactus  as a main character (I think it was titled NeoGian), so Shuusou Gyoku is really a product of many developer's desires meshed up together."

"There are no backstory to the Shuusou Gyoku Prototype, but you are bleeding when grazing.  Although Ms. Maid doesn't have any of that. (Not that it matters)

Q: (tl;dr) there are songs called "Untitled" listed on the Prototype.  Are these composed by ZUN as well?
A: Unfortunately no, it was composed by another member.  It was planned to be Stage 3 music, but when we moved to the next phase of the development of Shuusou Gyoku, we threw it out the window.

Q: (tl;dr) Just to confirm again, is "Frontal Attack" composed by ZUN?
A: Yes, that's right.  Other than just music, he supported us in various different ways. I'm truly thankful.

Q: (tl;dr) Can you share the Music Room of Shuusou Gyoku Prototype separately?
A: I cannot share just the Music Room separately by itself.  I will also not distribute the prototype.  Please consider again my reasons for uploading this video in the description.

That's unfortunate.  He has his reasons, I'm sure, but it's still sad that we won't get to hear Frontal Attack in its original quality.

The note in the video description is that they couldn't record using the SC-88Pro because its power supply died. They also might not be able to extract the midi file? Dunno.

I wonder if those Story of Eastern Wonderland mmd files converted to rcp files then midi files?

I've discovered this topic recently and finished listing to most of it.
I want to express my gratitude. Thank you.

wow... it's been almost two years since i posted here. As i said i'm (still) creating my game and i had to focus in the development, now aftetr 2 years i'm finally ready to start with the music, i'm really newbie but now i own my sd-90 :D i have been learning the last weeks how to create music, and i can't be more grateful to you romantique tp and the community for all your contributions, to be honest i didn?t realised all the hard work and time you have put here because i was very newbie to undestand it at that time, so thank you!
Now i'm using the SD with some vst to create my music. I'm also downloading touhou midis to study and practice with the sd 90, is there a recomended midis for the touhou +10 games that you can recommend me? or a list of the sd90 instruments used in TH? thanks
