This Phantasm Sakuya-B replay is 8.5 million lower than the current WR made two years ago by himself, except — get this — it contains about 30 million's worth of mistakes. So how does HS参謀 make up for that? By playing like a fucking robot wherever he doesn't make a mistake!

Spoiler: 30 million spellcard bonus on Danmaku Bound Field (that's an improvement of over 7 million right there).

Final spell didn't work out.  I was too cautious and the whole last battle was done in a poor mental state.  There was no 'let's do this!' feeling because the first few stages didn't start off quite right.  I just wanted to finish the run.  Fingers are a little cold.

Oh, and the damage bug popped up again during Ghost Clifford, ending the spell with only a 9M bonus.

A stick for Resurrection Butterfly would be nice.  Not blaming the failure on that, but it would be handy with the constant up/down motions.  A little sad that had to happen.  Try again in practice...yes, absolutely no problem, no lagging behind on any of the POC rushes.  Just the weight of the full run.

I decided to keep track of my progress to see what goes on these days.

First row for the times.  So nearly eight hours over a four day period which is more than the usual time spent playing.  Then again, nothing too productive comes out of those relaxed days.

Individual stage scores.  Main interest is between the first and second scores.  The second one went poorly most of the way, and the only reason it finished was because I thought, "Sure, why not."  By the end of the post-Lily White spam it was 50K CherryMax behind the first run, and the stage four scores are self-explanatory.  At the end of the run I figured there was nothing to lose and went ahead with the 80% Reflowering POC method.  Missed two entire waves and suffered in items and a border for that, but finished without dying and scored an 18M spell bonus.  The third run was 7K CherryMax behind the first at that same point.

Lastly, final moments.  The first run failed Flowery Soul by way of border breaking, but the fact that the second run lagged so far behind initially and finished with only seven lives is still surprising.  Last run was the standard 'border break POC' for 80% Reflowering, but without expending any bombs to pick up the first border.

Also created a list make a tally of retries and 'Return to Title' all over the game.  Won't get into specifics, but out of the 79 I managed to write down 62 of them were on stage one alone.  You'd think that with all the practice from restarting stage one would be simpler, unless the player doesn't understand the entirety of the situation and is pretty much left to the mercy of the random factors.  I'm giving the randomness too much credit; I'd say 80-90% falls on the ability of the player anyway.

Didn't monitor Yukari's health until it was too late and ended Double Black Death Butterfly too early, losing a potential border later on.  Border break against BoLaD.  The usual absence of aggressive grazing.  Still, I'm happy a favorable run was produced in short time.  Eight attempts, two to pass Ran, one to reach Yukari.

And I love the goofy moment with Mesh of Light and Darkness.

I recently 1cced hard with Reimu A once but I'm having trouble doing it again. The main problem is that I want to clear spellcards without using bombs not to lose cherrypoints... then end up missing and losing cherrypoints anyway;;

Maybe one day I might 1cc lunatic but I dont think that will be soon ; ;

Do you use a specific controller? I sometimes alternate between keyboard and ps3 controller. With keyboard I have better precision but can lose control easier than with a controller.
