Yabou No Gensokyo

I see this game doesn't seem to have a thread so I guess I'll make it.

It's a Strategy game in the style of the Nobunaga Ambitions games and the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

It's pretty obscure but it's not exactly hard to purchase it or import it.


 
The game is played turn based similar to the Civ series, however if you have the 2nd game you also have the option to play it like a RTS.

That looks very good! I've never played Nobunaga's ambition, and the only romance of the three kingdoms I know of is... not where close to strategy. How does it play?

Hm.
Each officer(in this case Touhou characters) have their own stats and relations which makes them better or terrible at certain things.
For example Tenshi is pretty good at warfare but only with sword units.


There are also events such as character interaction and alliances.
For example you can have Marisa talk to her younger self for a city boost or Yuyuko might go out and steal food from random nations.
even rebellions such as this one can happen.
the "great" Yukkuri Rebellion that crumbled my Tengu empire.

That's dueling, which has animations yes.

Well that was certainly something.
Managed to take out Satori early game and have Reimu and Marisa beat Sariel's faction purely by dueling.
