> "That is the one form I will not take," Nue says, switching to a black haired girl in a coat and jeans. The girl is much tanner than Nue, and her features are a bit different. "Never in public," she adds with some irritation. "This better?"

> "Spoilsport," Kogasa says.

>About how many are there?

> 10, 11, 12... Honestly, it's too dark to tell, and they're really squirming around down there, popping in and out. More than you can easily count, but you think more than 14.

> You consider whether you'd like to try to catch one or if you'd like to continue and hope they ignore you. The chasm you are in is completely underground, basically 2 cliff faces that meet some hundred feet up and start 200 or so feet down.

>Yeah, no point in a rock snake. Let's keep heading on, or up in this case.

> You decide to pass on the rock snakes, traveling up along the edge of the cliff until the ceiling is within arm's reach. At this point, the lights head through a tunnel branching from the cliff. You follow the lights another half-mile, at which point you see daylight poking out from the end of the tunnel.

>Gas masks.

> You don your gas mask, passing your spare one to Nue.

> "Here's hoping we don't need them," Nus says, putting the masking on.

>To the outside, ready to roast some mooks.

> You go outside, ready to start your mook roast.

> "Woah," Nue and Kogasa say in unison, and you are inclined to agree with them.

> You find that the world has gone upside down. More specifically, there is a large land mass directly above your head - forests and rivers and the like. Someone decided that the sky was too empty, and decided to put a continent in its place. You find yourself somewhat overwhelmed by this new development.

> You find that you do not need your gas masks, you are above the cloud line, kinda. There's another cloud line above you, but you're above your own cloud line. You also note that it is sunrise, although soon the sun will be blotted out by the monstrosity above your head. There are three tan creatures high above your head as well, circling like vultures.

> You wonder why Yukari didn't mention any of this, but as you go to call her, you realize you actually did get a lot of missed calls. Cave reception is pretty terrible.

> "You have four new voice messages. First voice message: 'Hello bum. Just calling to brag about my AWESOME NEW VENASAUR.' 'Hey, are you talking to Mokou again? Tell her I said hi!' 'Yes, and Cirno says hi. Smell you later, loser!'"

> "Second voice message: 'Hello, this is Professor Yukari. You probably won't believe this, but there seems to be a continent above Mt. Coronet. And Gensokyo actually. I'm still looking into the details, but if you would be a dear and do some investigating for me, I'm sure we could work something out. Anyway, all I know right now is it has to do with Youkai Mountain and the Coronet Mountain Range, so if you happen across that living goddess and should find whooping her to be helpful, well, I won't complain. Just keep your eyes open for celestials, they're not very happy right now. Call me so I can fill you in.'"

> "Third voice message: 'You haven't seen my mini-hakkero recently have you? Y'know, octagon, wood, lotsa magic markings... Anyway, I'd be real appreciative of getting it back.'"

> "Forth voice message: 'WHY HAVEN'T YOU CALLED ME BACK LOSER.' 'Maybe she doesn't care?' 'OF COURSE SHE CARES YOU STUPID FAIRY. She has to care, right?' 'Not really.' 'SHUTUP. Anyway, calling to brag about my Venasaur more. I bet you're still stuck with a puny charmeleon while I have my AWESOME VENASAUR. Smell you later!'"

>This looks like something Yukari would do when bored. That or those mountain gods.

> You suspect Yukari concurs about the mountain gods part, but this does seem like the kind of thing Yukari would be behind.

>Pokedex scan those weird floating things too.

> You flip open your pokedex, and it shows you a picture of the creature.

> "Dragonite, the Dragon Pok?mon. This rare and highly intelligent pok?mon is said to be capable of flying around the globe in about 16 hours."

>This is like that time when Bhava Agra fell wait no that was a different game

> There is a non-zero chance that you are witnessing the end of the world. You do not look forward to surviving it to be crushed between two continents in agonizing pain and loneliness for the next several million years, so you take the fact that the continent above you does not appear to be falling as a very, very good sign.

>Pokemon squad list with status of each

Well, eyeballing your party, you predict the following:

> Ponyta - Good - No combat, well rested.
> Charmeleon - Good - No combat, well rested.
> Registeel - Alright - Although maybe a little tired from the digging.
> Crobat - Alright - Maybe a little tired too, since it spent hours searching for Kogasa.
> Lucario - Good - No combat, and relatively little hard labor.
> Haunter - Weakened - It may have had rest since then, but that battle with Nue was harsh. Really harsh. You might want to give him more time.

The mod notes that red, yellow, and green were the easiest colors to find, and that yellow, yellow-green, and green would have been more accurate.

>You must gather your party before venturing forth.

> Your party is all here, conveniently.

> Nue smiles, "Have you ever seen such a spectacular illusion?"

> "Looks pretty real to me," Kogasa says.

> "Me too," Nue says. "But it's impossible, isn't it? Either that's the greatest illusion I've ever seen, or someone with powers beyond horrifying has turned the world upside down."

> "Well? Shall we prank a god?" Kogasa asks with a wink.

> Nue laughs. "All we know about our mark is that it had the power to create that. We don't even know if the mark's organic." The girl winks back, "I'm in."

> You wonder if either of your traveling partners are sane.

>If Yukari's made calls, return them. While wondering why she didn't just use gaphax to make them go through.

> Well, Marisa and Kaguya made three of the calls, but you think you should return Yukari's call at least. You call Yukari and ask why she didn't use gaphax.

> "What, you think I'm spying on you guys 24/7? That's what GPS is for!" Yukari says. "I lost track of you the minute you entered Mt. Coronet, and soon after that monstrosity above your head started blocking the satellites, so I don't have accurate bearings on anyone anymore."

> "Anyway, welcome home! Isn't Gensokyo beautiful from up there? Or, depending on where you're standing, down there."

> You notice the dragons above your head are descending.

GIRATINA HO!

>Ascend with group

> You wish to fight the monstrosity that caused this to the death, then discover whether or not it can be stuffed inside a little ball and made to banish Kaguya to the EVERYTHING ON FIRE plane of existence. Yous suspect doing so may affect the natural balance, which you are told is a bad thing, but meh. Natural balance has never been one of your priorities, you find nature is really good at sorting those kinds of things out.

>Go Up.
