Why two separate things in one thread? Well, if you look over here (http://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php/topic,13165.0.html) you'll notice I want to make a game! A game in RPG Maker VX specifically. My game kind of needs art though, so here I am!
[Sprite Requests]
I need two types of sprites.
-Location/Map Sprites: I can only do so much with the default RPG Maker VX tiles, so if there's anyone versed in sprite-based art for locations/buildings, please let me know! I'd like an example, a tileset perhaps for Hakugyokurou's exterior, so I can tell if the style of your work will fit what I'd like!
-Battlers/Overworld Sprites: I'll mostly have original characters and monsters in the game, but there will obviously be some Touhou characters involved given the nature of the game I'm working on(You DID read my link, right?). For an example of an overworld-type sprite, perhaps one of our lovely half-ghost gardener would do? (I'll only ask for one or two directions, though I'll need all 4 cardinal directions eventually if you're up for it and I think your style/quality will work).
[Non-sprite requests]
-Character portraits: Key characters/villains will have portraits during dialogue, so I'd like an artist to do them! Any art medium is acceptable, though I'll note I do have someone I'm planning to ask for this one. (Still submit examples in case it doesn't work out! A good example might be either Youmu or Yuyuko, preferably with two or three versions for different emotions/situations.)
-(Low-priority) I'm CONSIDERING having still images display during key scenes, so someone who might like to do something like that would be helpful! For this I'll let you the viewer decide what to make, but I'll appreciate it if there's a background AND a character or more involved in it!
You can post examples here or PM them to me, so let the art fly!

@Shmarah: Hm... They're a bit rough(But that doesn't = bad!), and not quite what I was looking for, but since I never mentioned what sort of look I was after(Which was a pretty big error on my part, for sure) I feel kinda bad just turning you away...Would you be interested in working on some banner stuff once I get to that stage? I'm not there yet, but when I AM at that stage we could work on refining what you've got. Is that alright?
@Aoshi-shi: I dunno if you ever got my message on FB, but when I mentioned here that I was gonna be asking someone for help with this? Well...that'd be you, if you're willing. =)
