Ooh, that's a good point. Our knives are probably too plain, but given how much of a hoarder this girl clearly is, she might be overly interested in old money.

I think that's good, yeah. These people don't really believe we're from the past, so getting that across would be a good start.

>"If I could prove that I am truly from the past, I could help describe some of the ancient things in your museum or answer questions. But after so long, apart from my currency the only thing I may have in my favor is the word of those who have been in Gensokyo since back then themselves... such as Reimu Hakurei, Kanako Yasaka, and several people at the Myouren Temple."

>"I don't suppose you'll care about any of the written messages people have given me to send to their past selves, either? Perhaps trying to prove it to you is a moot point."

Next is following up with getting straight down to business instead. She won't believe, so we can't use past knowledge or our past stuff as any sort of leverage. She's probably right in that we can't hope to get anything from private collectors. Next is either trying to strike a deal with her, or going over to Haihan and seeing what goes down.

Maybe she'd be interested in us taking a trip to haihan, in some form or fashion? Do an errand, get info or bring something back, etc?

>"Look, maybe other people can think what they want, but I have to deal with actual swindlers here," says the kobito, crossing her arms. Show me something that can't be faked up in an afternoon by a good forger."

>Thorough description of silver knife

Any of the messages are likely in the realm of pretty forge-able by someone who knows what they're doing. Alice's research is the only other compelling inventory item that isn't mission critical, but apart from the fact that we morally shouldn't let go of that, she's also standing right next to us and we don't want our throat punched in.

The other thing would be stopping time. Unless there's tales of the time-stopping maid though, I'm not quite sure what it'd prove, apart from impressiveness.

Technically, we could do a lot with stopping time, but simply because we have such a power doesn't mean we get brownie points for not abusing it.

>Silver Knife
>A knife about eight inches long, with a plain crossguard and weighted to keep steady when thrown. The blade is steel coated with silver; rendering it effective against ghostly things. They well made, but not exceptionally so.

>"Specifically, there was someone in the Scarlet Devil Mansion with that ability."

"the past" is a pretty broad category, if she -has- heard anything about it, it'd help jog her memory.

If she hasn't, our ability won't really help our case, unless it's to demonstrate capability for some unusual task. But if she HAS, well, can't forge that, now can you?

That`s the idea, and i was going through the past hoping that she would remember us taking part in some incident by our unique ability, and not by our home, we need to remember that our house doesn`t exert almost any kind of influence in the people of this time.
