"Bring him here.  The village was empty except for him. I would like to know why, and if he dies.."
I have...a terrible need...shall I say the word?...of religion. Then I go out at night and paint the stars.

>"I did nothing. I just found him like this. If he had given me reason to attack him, then why would I be standing in front of a doctor with him?"
>Make sure to say it with a sickly sweet smile.

> You explain what happened sweetly. The doctor becomes pensive, so pensive in fact that she seems to have completely forgotten the task at hand.

>She looks up sharply
"Huh? Oh yes." she turns towards the rabbit "Udonge, please take this man and put him on the operating table."
"O-okay." The rabbit hurries to comply with her masters request.
The doctor turns back to you
"Don't worry, I'll have him right as rain in no time. Err... You can wait, or come back tomorrow, whichever you like..."

>It isn't particularly urgent. All you want him for is to find out what's going on at the village. He'd probably manage to get home by himself once he's better.

>You tell the doctor that you will come back later. She looks slightly relieved and calls the rabbit from earlier to lead you out of the bamboo forest. The journey takes much less time than the previous one.
You are now standing just outside the bamboo forest.

Thataway-ish is better than not knowing the way. Fly high for a better view.

You fly up into the air. It's easy enough to spot the shrine from here, the gate is extremely distinctive.

You set off towards the shrine, but you see something coming towards you. You see black, white and red, but before you can get a better look, it crashes into you, causing you to black out momentarily.

You think you saw something weird just now. You shake your head slightly to clear it. Damn that amulet hurt. Or was it a star? Either way, you've just realised that fighting in your pajamas may not have been your best idea.

You hurry back to your room and lock the door. You can hear the shrine maiden and witch shouting outside. You hurriedly pull on a white blouse, waistcoat, pair of pants, and a necktie. You have justhad enough of a chance to grab your parasol again before the intruders break the door down.

Well, they are who we were looking for.
Check if they hurt our sun flowers.

What sunflowers?

Prepare to defend ourselves, but keep a neutral yet falsely sweet face as if you weren't expecting them.

You tighten your grip on the handle of your parasol, smile and say
"Oh my, visitors at this hour?"
The pair look furious.
"Shut up! I'm just gonna defeat you and solve this incident!"
"No you're not, I am!"
"I am!"
"I am!"

>The two are so absorbed in their argument that it takes barely any effort to slip by them unnoticed. As you walk down the hallway, you hear bangs from behind you - seems their argument turned into a fight. Well, since you're already up (and your bedroom is now a warzone) you may as well do something with the day.

> Well, not exactly, but you did have spring cleaning you've been putting off for a few weeks. Of course thanks to some people, it's now an even bigger job.

>Aside from yourself, there's just the gatekeeper, Elly. Well unless you count the vermin(fairy) infestation.
