Touhou Soccer - character stats

I tried looking everywhere - including Japanese wiki - but can't find any explaintaion of characters' stats in Touhou Soccer. Most of those are obvious, but two stats that keep me confused are:

Reactions - I understand that it affects automatic interceptions, but not sure to what degree and how important it is overall.

Technique - not use what it affects at all

If anyone has an idea of what these stats affect, any help would be most welcome!

Technique 
A rating of the character's dexterity. Influences dribbles and air shots slightly.
For goalkeepers, this stat influences their resistance to becoming unbalanced. 

Reactions 
A rating of how well the character reacts to the ball. It affects the chance of automatically intercepting a ball that is passed over the character.
A high stat in this area also has a minor effect on several other possible situations. 

Got this from the "soccer_English.chm" file in the game directory, i guess if you have the english patch you should have it too.
