>What does he have that catches our eye?

>At the spot you are now, nothing in particular. This part looks more like a living quarter, where he (and possibly Tokiko too) lives. There's a bed in a far corner right behind you.
>You believe that you might find something interesting at the main part of the shop. But you are aware that he leaves some wares in the basement as there's a little too much of them.

>You wonder about the shop keeper's sexual preferences. He likes... birds? Well, she is pretty cute, just the wings, chirping and stuff.

>You finish your tea. (+3% of magic power) current level 96%/100%)

>"Ah, well, ok. Good luck with finding Chen" Rinnosuke waves you. Tokiko's behind him, she discretely waves to you too.

>The Forest of Magic is right west of here. But it's gigantic. It depends on how far precisely you want to go. Simple "fly up and look around" without any haste would eat up 3% of your power

> Fly up and scope around for intelligible and unintelligble youkai.
> Memory check for that place Chen ran off to play in during the stolen spring incident.

>You fly up and explore the Forest.
>Just lifting yourself beyond the tree level allows you to see a big lake with some kind of a building on aan island in it's middle.  The lake is pretty vast, actually. that must be the Misty Lake you heard about.
>Flying a little further, towards the lake, you notice smoke, coming from two places from a distance. Those immediately remind you that Alice Margatroid and Marisa Kirisame live in their homes around here. That's worth remembering. Who knows when those will come in handy.
>It's hard to see from the air but you start seeing some activity as you are getting close  to the lake. On it's shores there are fairies playing around. One is freezing the lake's surface for reasons unknown to you. They all laugh rather loudly.

>You heard about one, but you can't recall the name. She comes from these parts of the Forest.

>How well do we get along with the faeries?

>You have no relationship with fairies at all. You rarely have a chance to get to know any in particular, not to mention the fairies from the forest of magic- those you never even seen before close.

One of the fairies looks like she's fishing a bit away from the others.

>Let's go hassle that fishing faerie, first.

>You fly up to the fairy (Current magic level capacity 93%/100%)
>She appears to have short green hair tied behind with a yellow ribbon.  She's in a blue dress with white motives and her wings are gold. The part probably allowing her to fly in the air is transparent though, almost like an insect.
>Her fishing rod looks like self-made. You also noticed a basket on her side. It has some fish in it.
>She doesn't notice you as you slowly approach.
>From here you have a better view on the fairies. They're colorful and looks like they enjoy themselves. The ice fairy is making some snow and they throw snowballs at each other.

>Calmly approach the fairy that's currently fishing. Don't scare her or anything.

>You approach the fairy in a way for her to notice you. You put "warm Kitsune smile number 3" on your face not to scare her off.
>She indeed notices you and watches your movement. Perhaps the presence of other fairies nearby allows her for letting her guard so low.

>If she stay calm, ask if she have happen to seen our Chen.

>You ask the fairy for Chen
>"And who are you? I shouldn't give such information to a stranger".

>If so, politely introduce ourself by name.

>You introduce yourself politely
>"Ah, so you are "Ran-shama". Nice to meet you."
>The fairy gets up, wipes her hand in her dress and shows it to you, in a gesture of greetings, awaiting a hand shake.

>You shake hands. "I'm Daiyousei" she says. "I'm the oldest fairy around here"
>She sits back. "Chen comes around every now and then and plays with those morons you see there" She points the other fairies.
>"We seen her a few days ago. I think five... or was it four. Something like that. Oh, I have a catch!"
>You see movement in the water, the string of the pole is getting pulled in the water. Daiyousei struggles to get out the catch.

>You grab the pole to help Daiyousei.
>Oh, damn, something pulls it hard!
>After a moment the fishing pole snaps in half and you both smack on the ground.
>From the water emerges... a woman. She has short purple hair. She;s dressed in a long black skirt and a white and red shirt with two pretty long ribbons extending from it. And a black with a red bow.
>She flies up and laughs.
>"God damn you, woman! That's third this month!" Daiyousei yells at her.
