Oh man, I laughed heartily.

Today is September 9th, old meme day. Today is the day people go around celebrating old memes. Like that one that involves a number... 5 I think it was? So go out and remind people of memes they've forgotten about! Unless you hate those memes. Then I guess today really isn't a holiday so much as a grim reminder of what the internet is like.

Today is fuckhorn, Poodle Day. A rebellious princess of Filgaia insisted on putting skirts on her dogs, especially her favorite poodle, Charlotte. For her sixteenth birthday, her father made this day a celebration of her beloved pet.

It is always a little weird, can't help but think: "Bob is not a cat." Regardless, repose restfully Bob Cat.

September 12: Today is Grandparents Day. This day celebrates grandparents of the present, and honors the memory of those whom have past. Our grandparents have done a great many thing for us, bake snickerdoodles, accidentally teach us how to swear, and care for us in their own way. May I one day be great enough a grandparent to fill their shoes.

Today is emptiness, Belt Day. Belts are a wonderful invention that keep your pants up, even if they're a little larger than your waist! And you want to wear pants. I wonder what girls' clothes use instead?

Today is ><><><, Holiday Day,
where we have a holiday to celebrate holidays.
Now if only we could make a holiday day for each
holiday there is, including Holiday day.

Why the couch? I have to know the backstory behind this.

Luna Child found a vial of dissembler nanomachines that had fallen from the moon, and when she opened it they chewed through the old couch before running out of juice.

We already had this one. =[

Today is ns-13, Recliner Day. Recliners are made for rest and relaxation, but they're good for more than that! Like being used as an outdoor countertop for little kids. Or a bludgeon once it's folded up and the kids start complaining again. Yeah, that wasn't a very fun summer...

Today is QQQQQ, Millionaire Day. There was a time when being a millionaire meant you were really rich, but now it just means being relatively well-to-do. Although, a million in cash would probably still attract a lot of attention... but there aren't many good reasons to do that. Unless you like eating cash or something, I guess...

Today is :V,Cheese Whip Day. We all know cheese as the multi-colored goodness that comes from cows, but what if it came from a spray can? Great idea? Yes. An easy way to get cheese? Yes. Tubular? Err...yes.

Today is qwerty, Demo Day. Demonstrations are a useful way to teach and learn, most of the time. But it can get really confusing when you don't know if a demonstration is for what to do, or what not to do. With sis, sometimes it was difficult to tell...

Says the guy who listens to punk.

I'll have you know I asked No one, and she mentioned she much prefers Bluegrass.

Hooray, arson!

Today is mrf, Sound Effect Day. Today celebrates the many strange words used to express sounds that aren't words! Most people do this by going around making weird noises all day. I should get started. Preeet!...pooooot!...

I wonder if that's Aya fearing for her life or covering up an embarrassing old hobby of her own! Or if there was supposed to be something more between those "shut up"s.

I don't think Aya looks worried enough to be fearing for her life... And she's probably an old enough youkai to remember hoop rollin'.

That's just my take, of course. Part of the brilliance is how you can read it as you like.

Today is foobar, Retail Day. Today, Filgaia celebrates the sacrifices of the oft-trodden, oft-disrespected personnel of shops around the world, paid for giving the public a fake smile while doing the last difficult bits of actually selling things. Unfortunately for them, it's not a very popular holiday.
