Lacks Boxing Chen ={

Today is albatross, Escher Day. Escher is some artist that apparently makes some really confusing stuff that defies the laws of physics. I haven't seen any of them, and I don't want to - everyone else trying to confuse me for the holiday is bad enough!

Today is @=('.'Q), Night Day.
All holidays are called "Days", but why is that? Shouldn't we celebrate the nights just the same? So today, we celebrate all other holidays' hollynights.
Wait, then why don't we call it "Night Night"?

Should I try to have any idea of how that relates to the day name?

Today is plugh, Hummingbird Day. Hummingbirds are really unique - they're the smallest birds, the only ones that can hover, and I'm pretty sure they're the only ones that drink nectar from flowers. Then again, bees do a lot of those things, too... does that mean hummingbirds are actually giant bees?

+1 for "muchango".

Chen weeps at physics' defiance. Who knew she was such a stickler?

Today is arglesnap, Welfare Day. "Farewell" and "Welfare" have pretty different meanings, even though they're made from the same words. Maybe that extra 'l' has a really deep meaning...

Today is MMDDYYYY, Trinket Day.  Check your room or closet,
search your desk and pockets, and sure enough you'll find some
items that might look neat, but have no real use.  Maybe they're
souveniers from a past trip, or a gift from someone.  I wonder if
someone organizes them secretly?

Today, Day Month, is Four Leaf Clover Day. This is celebrated by bestowing some anonymous act
of good fortune or generosity onto someone. Like the time I found that 20 on the sidewalk. Whoever
dropped that in my path must have really liked me!

Today is bees, Aluminum Day. Aluminum Day celebrates the wonders of Aluminum! Which is kinda weird, since it was started shortly after a miner said he found the biggest deposit of silver in Filgaia...

Today is ??????, Expletive Day. Today is the day where everyone goes around swearing without any guilt at all! Well, usually. There was that one year where Uncle Shrill insisted on us making lots of promises instead...

That is a wonderful exchange. Especially the marriage proposal line.

Today is 8), Web Day. Whether the web is made of thread, silk, tubes, or lies and deceit, today is the day to celebrate it! Just don't get too tangled up in one - Dad really yelled at me once when that happened.

Today is QQQQQQ, Kidnapping Day. Today is the anniversary of the infamous kidnapping of King Ralph. Story goes, some foreign bandits captured him on the road and held him hostage, but were killed when the cheese they demanded had a poison the king was resistant to. Kidnapping is wrong! I'll be careful not to kidnap anybody.

Today is XXXXXX, Nostalgia Day. Remember when we were kids? Those building blocks and old action figures were awesome! I remember spending days and days playing video games... I wonder why they're not as fun anymore? Oh well. In celebration, I'm going to build a submarine out of blocks!

Today is XYZ, Freshman Day. Freshmen are students in their first year at a school - even if they aren't men! Today, people recall their first time entering their schools, and go to a lot of awkward reunions with people they got drunk with twenty years ago.
