Welp, I'm starting to come up with original character ideas.

Here's a currently-unnamed character - Probably a celestial.
She controls the placement of celestial objects, and likewise enjoys creating constellations.
Hands and feet/shoes hurt to draw.

Perspective is a tad funny, and the clothes are strange.

It might be hard to tell with this uncolored drawing, but her head beads are meant to look like cherries. Subject to change, especially if I decide not to make her a celestial after all.

Very well done, I must say. I like that expression on Aya there. Wow, I really can't find any ways you can further improve this. Very impressive. Yes, I look forwards to seeing this coloured.

I've lived in many places in the world and there are very few places where people:
a) use the 'ng' combination to produce a sound
b) replace 'c' and 'q' sounds with 'k', because I know 'kuadrat' there means 'quadratics' XD
c) do both of the above

Your analysis scares me... because it's 100% correct lol. By the way, kunang-kunang means "Firefly" in English.

As for the Aya, I like it. The shading with pencil is much smoother than what I can manage right now, and it's really clean. Not that I'm not looking forward to see it in color, of course.

I do have some questions though:
1. What is the difference between posting in this thread and my own thread?
2. What do I need to do make my own art thread, or rather what would you expect from an artist specific thread?

I want to make my own thread but I don't think it will be updated often

1. In this thread, you can only post Touhou related artwork, while in your own thread you can post any artwork you created.

2. Sure you can make your own art thread, but you need to be a full mamber first, so make sure you post 10 times (you should also be able to IM and have a profile pic if I'm correct). After that's done go to the Alice's Art Atelier and at the top right of the different threads, you should see an option that says New Topic. Just upload some pics and then you're done, but make sure the images are 640 by 480 or under (since Matsuri will appreciate that). If they aren't, you can always make them a thumbnail.  :V
