> 'But all in all, I think the spiders will be be happy to have that menace of their backs. And you'll never know, perhaps it'll remove the pollution anyway. Or when the familliar is gone, the true culprit might show up to watch over it's devilish project or take revenge for the destruction of it's familliar. Then we can confront it! The familliar's destruction might even weaken the culprit, assuming it made a permanent, life-bonding contract.'

"Oh, Very true. Something tells me there is no life-bonding contract though. The culprit is probably dead, or at the very least, not up to date and aware of whats going on with the familiar."

You...are more than compelled to ask why.

"Think about it, You've bound up the familiar. If it was life-bonded, it would've sent a distress. They'd also be aware of the pollution, and given its been a while, Haven't tried to make whatever they're hiding more conspicuous. They've gone through the trouble to hide it in the former hell, but they're not addressing an issue that could lead to it being discovered? They either don't care, in which case making a permanent bond is pointless, or simply can't care anymore.

I'm not sure the pollution will just vanish, even with if it was familiar made, though..."

It was pretty circular, so you'd give it a.... 50m or so radius. Really, Moving around it was the hardest part of dodging the shark. How deep it is you don't know, but probably pretty damn deep. You probably will need SOME way to look in there, that much you know.

I think you answered yourself in the first part. You figure you'd need a way to see through the water, none the less live through it. You're not sure if Suika would know any way to do that...

I was talking about the endless pit...not the pool.

But now I have an idea for the pool problem!

> Go look for Nitori, and ask her to come with you (along with diving equipment). She can inspect the pool for you! (or with you if she has many scuba sets). She's pretty scientific, so maybe she can even test a sample of the pool to see what's inside it.

Yeah, Nitori is kinda dead.

You ask if they have anything of Nitori's that is salvagable, Suika shakes her head. "Crows plucked her straight bare when they found the body. They at least gave her the decency of clothing when they buried her, though."

Suika shrugs. "Girl was nice, but she made a helluva lot of war-based stuff. They're probably putting it to good use..."

You're not sure at all. Suika shrugs as well.

It's not a case of bad luck, but more a case of some arcane douchebag using a spell to poison the water and make the pit endless for a higher purpose/the lulz. Is it magical? Yes. Is it a bother for many people? Yes. Is it nigh impossible to solve by normal means? Yes. That sounds like a curse to me, and we better make use of that spinning sponge loli while we have the chance.

You begin searching the mountains for Hina. You're not even sure if shes alive, but you figure this really is the best place to look for her. You don't really have much luck.

.....for the last time people Hina has NOTHING to do with luck! She's a CURSE Goddess, not a MISFORTUNE Goddess. BIG difference! She sucks up curses like people being turned into toads! If anything she CAUSES luck!

You do that. A few of the mention how they haven't seen her around the mountains in ages, many say its probably for the better. You get the feeling she'd be treated rather poorly around here.

Suika reminds you how the Tengu would pretty much have a shit fit. You may have to fry that fish yourself.

Suika blinks in surprise. "I didn't think anyone could be that bad at swearin'."

You decide to go visit Wriggle.

You make a note to try to find a clear glass container. And some rope.

You ask how Suika is doing. "Its... been a day or so, the whole tengu ain't gonna fall in line so soon."

You manage to get a clear glass container from Suika, but now rope.

You also want to head to the hakurei shrine, which should you go to first?

You decide to check out the Hakurei Shrine first.

You arrive at the HAKUREI SHRINE. You're suprised how good it looks. It looks obviously worn and uncared for, but its not falling about in any manner. It is mostly littered walkway-wise and missing a few shingles. You pause about ten seconds in.

You smell someone. Someone is currently here.

You also feel something is not right here. You do not believe this is very good given where here is.

You take to the trees with BLACK MAGIC. You don't spare a beat, you do not want to be seen. You go along them towards a window. You can't see well inside, but someone is kneeling. There is a sword nearby, and you only know a few people with swords.

One of them has two. And shes the only one you like.
