The Universe is inherently chaotic.  Very, very little about it actually makes sense.  I mean, think about it: giant balls of rock floating around an even more gigantic ball of superheated gas?  Or beings composed primarily of hydrogen and oxygen who think that digital watches are a pretty neat idea?  Or a highly inebriated being composed primarily of hydrogen, oxygen and alcohol making a cult series of games involving flying little girls blasting the hell out of each other with billions of magical bullets?

...I mean, what the hell?  Does any of that make any sense whatsoever?
