>"Hey kitty, where's Kasen at? The pink haired one who just showed up today."
>Presuming the cat doesn't try to do anything useful, step over it and look around for hermits.

> The cat meows and rolls over on its back.  When you step over it, it bolts down the hall.
> You look around the hallway.  While you don't immediately see Kasen, you see a number of doors are open on both the left and the right.  A bronze glow spills out of the door on the left, indicating Sanae's room.

>Make our way down the halls and glance about for Kasen. If we know is there is a place where the cats tend to be fed, go there first.

> You believe the cats dwell in the fourth door to the right.  As you approach that room, you look through the other open doors.  Satori organizes her animals by species, so there's a room for dogs, rodents, reptiles, and even little fish.  At the end of the hall is where you believe the birds to be located, but that is not your destination.
> When you reach the fourth door on the right, your ears are immediately greeted with the sound of meowing.  Kasen is standing in the middle of the room, up to her knees in cats and wearing an expression of utmost concentration.  She's holding a bag in one arm and spreading cat food like bird seed.  It is absolute mayhem in here.

> While the birdseed method is acceptable, the best way to deal with hungry cats is to shut them outside the room while you fill their food dishes.  Cats are the only types of Satori's pets you've worked with in the past.

   > Your signature weapon.
   > You're the only one who can touch it without either burning yourself (human) or suffering excruciating pain (youkai).

> "You hear that, guys?  You need to leave," Kasen tells the cats.  However, none of them show any indication that they're listening to her.  Hungry cats are truly a force of nature and cannot be stopped.  Leap as they may, though, they still can't reach the food bag.

>"Out, out, out, let's go. We'll let you back in when dinner's served."

> You start sweeping the cats like the leaves in your front yard.  The cats squirm and yowl and attack the broom, but you manage to peacefully start sweeping them out the door.  Kasen, too, starts nudging cats your way as gingerly as she can.  You're going to have to hurry, if you want them to stay out.

> Gotta go fast!

> You sweep the cats out as fast as you can.  They keep coming back in to either hassle Kasen or your broom, but very soon a good number of them are out the door.
> There are still more, however.  One of them even stands on its hind legs to bat at the ends of your hair.  Kasen gives it a firm look, and it scuttles out of the room.

>Once they are out, close the door.

> You keep sweeping until all of the cats are gone.  You push one last cat--a tiny calico--out the door, and then close it.  You hear a chorus of pathetic mewling and scratching outside.
