> You leave the mountain.  Much time has passed and the sun is already starting to lower in the sky.  Its rays reflect off all the water, and it seems as if all of Gensokyo is alight.  You pass over the Human Village again and see that the Palaquin has drifted east...or perhaps, they are sailing in that direction on purpose.  You eventually leave the water behind for higher ground and near your shrine.  As you approach, the echoing of voices reaches your ears.  There must be multiple people there.

> You recognize Akyuu's voice, the faeries' voices, and...is that the hermit's voice?  Hers is less audible than the others, but you can tell she's not the one you're looking for.
> You descend upon the shrine.  No one is out front; it seems that all the commotion is coming from the back.  You see one of the faeries run by the open front door with her arms full of towels.  She slows down, backs up, and looks out when you land on the shrine path.  When she sees it's you, she turns and keeps running towards...wherever she was headed.

> It hasn't changed much since you left, except the back porch now has some boxes piled up on it.  And they're--oh, it's the boxes you were planning on cleaning out the other day.  A pink-haired girl who you identify as the hermit you are not looking for is standing by the pile resting one hand on a box.  She's talking to one of the faeries.
> "--going to have to do with towels for now," the hermit is saying, and pats the small box she has her hand on.  The faerie nods and fidgets where she stands.
> Nearby the door leading to the cellar is open.  Akyuu and the last faerie come out balancing a box between the two of them.  No one notices you.  Not yet.

> The hermit looks over her shoulder.
> "Ah.  There you are."  She has a rather serious expression on her face.  "I noticed that water from the pond was seeping into the basement here, so I got these girls to help me out."

> Ohhh.  She does.  In fact...ah, it's one of your other big donors.  She's still a frequent visitor to the shrine so it's not unusual to see her here. 
> At the moment, she's taking the box off of Akyuu's and the faerie's hands.  She hefts it up on one shoulder and carries it over to the pile, moving the small box out of the way so she can set the other one down.  She holds the small box in her arms, turning it this way and that.
> "It's not completely underwater," she's saying, "But some of the boxes' contents might still be damaged.  I think this one is fine, though."

> You offer to help with the boxes, and she shakes her head.
> "No, this is all there was down there.  You really should take better care of your basement.  Even if it's just for storage, you should take care of all of your possessions, especially when you have important-looking boxes like this--" she holds up the small box, "--stowed away.  And yes, I am busy, but I may be able to spare a few minutes.  What's on your mind?"

> "You'd keep that poor fish inside such a small space?  You could have just brought me to her rather than take her so far away from her natural habitat.  She's probably terrified right now, you know?"  She sits the box on her lap and rubs her temples.  "But yes, I will talk to her."
